Funnily enough if you watch more of Roland's recent videos it's becoming quite apparent that he's now maybe trying to separate himself from this persona he's built - openly talking about being rejected by some girls in America and dealing with rejection in general, staying in relatively simple hotel rooms in order to save money, having extreme close-ups of his unmanicured hands, publicly discussing issues relating to his various businesses, etc. There's also a whole undergoing drama of his host club staff complaining that he's almost never there and has 'abandoned' them to pursue other things, so it definitely seems like Roland's focus has shifted elsewhere. I honestly first started watching Roland's videos out of morbid curiosity, but now it's almost like an intellectual curiosity where you get to see the ups and downs of managing businesses and people, as well as your own image in the public eye.

This is actually something I never thought would happen but here we are. I was initially listening to the podcast on Spotify but when I heard the clip of the interview with Roland, I just knew it was the one with Joey so I just had to jump in here and check the vid and it felt like my two worlds colliding 😂😂😂😂
@ohw53064 ай бұрын
Yeah like I watch them both but I nvr though I would see Joey here 😂❤. After joey's interview w Roland his interview makes him get mention in the most unexpected places. Like #negetivelegand mentioned his when they made their vid abt Ouran highschool Host Club. Nvr though I would have seen Joey there 😂

I don't find Roland physically attractive but his personality is fascinating, once you talked all the things he did for his employees/ co-workers it made me more interested in him. Learning English is a smart move, he can become international now.

54:07 its so admirable that he is very competent and a good businessman. the hair saloon isnt just a crash grab but he really knows all the details even about the lint filter of a washing machine and is willing to clean it himself. he doesnt gets angry, he is focused on problem solving and making things work smoothly. this is a very intelligent and a hardworking person.

She already post about this issue on spotify. It usually takes a few days before she posted the video format on here.

Genuinely thought I was booting up a korean reality TV/Kdrama with that intro, I had to do double takes. Just goes to show how much work the editors put into the intro!
