Nice video of E30 sport seat cover installation. I've been through this process myself, and I would add a few comments: First, I think it would be easier to install the seat covers after first removing the seat rails from the frames. This has the added benefit of allowing the rails to be restored (cleaned, de-rusted and repainted). Second, while the seats are disassembled and the hinges removed, it is an ideal time to refresh the seat mechanicals, including new seat cables and shocks.

GReat vid, 3:44, on the passenger seat there is a screw accessable through the lever slot, on one of the seat tilt forward levers, so one comes off, this makes getting = the back cover off easy without tugging over the levers.

I really feel feel for you guys over the pond, having the euro chrome or even the later plastic bumpers, and the euro smiley ellipsoids, the diving board rear bumper is sacrilege, the US auto industry really did a number on making euro cars "compliant", especially our beautiful E30's. great vid BTW, yeah these seats are hard work. thx

What happened to the back cover? Did your kit not come with the blue leather to cover it? Is that an LSeats kit? If so , it should've come with the leather for the backs. But, overall, you did a good job!
