Roadhog giving less ult is actually super impactful over the course of an entire game. It doesn't make him a better hero really, but now a enemy team gets (in theory) 3-4 less ults than they would normally. Some testing needs to be done to figure it out more in depth, but it's definitely got more impact than people think. Oh but also, just take moira out of the game and give her a massive rework please.

Yeah, it's a high rank buff. Low rank hog (under plat) is OP but high rank you can't play him because you give the other team all the ults, so it's a really smart change. High ranks specifically didn't want to play hog because he's an ult battery (and easily countered by ana) despite hook being one of the best cooldowns in the game.

I really don’t understand the idea that Shanghai has earned the right to sandbag more than S1 NYXL ever did. It seems like S4 Shanghai is in a VERY similar spot that S1 NYXL was in. In fact i think S1 NYXL had even more of a right to sandbag since they played soooooo many more games in that season. Kinda seems like they’re viewing NYXL’s sandbagging through the lens of them losing in the playoffs but they’re just giving Shanghai a pass for… reasons.

I disagree. Sigma can do too much. Think about it for a moment. Shield, stun and mild boop at range, projectile succ and self protection, good damage, and an area of effect ult that's also a huge cc and damage. I miss characters that have simple kits and playstyles. I feel like the complicated characters like sigma just outmatch simpler, better designed ones. Just a personal opinion btw.

@Noam Morton you should try play against a sigma on a high ground or on an offangle like I do, who doesn't give a shit about what the other tanks are doing atm and who is just spamming at the supports or DPS ( on Hollywood defence it's kinda broken ngl) you get mega value, fast ult and the enemy frontline can't do shit because everyone is shooting at him without him getting heals, the fact that whenever I play sigma I get all golds about 70%+ of the time when you have a junkrat and a mcree/Ashe with DMG boost should say enough (only if I offangle otherwise not) his potential DMG output is crazy

She’s supposed to be able to reposition herself quickly to avoid being dived by tracer/sombra/genji, and is given vamp to have some duelling power against them. So the SHD coach also said they just sandbagging? And teams that scrim them also say the dragons just resting. And they play multiple bench players against Fusion. They played WhoRU tracer (and if I remember picked bastion or something for a second). And against NYXL the back line was straight up trolling. They didn’t coordinate, looked slower and less organized. That’s not an indication of struggle, to me that’s an indication of less thinking and less speed to save energy. I don’t see a reason to not believe they aren’t just a sleeping Giant. You can’t argue, it’s pretty clear. No disrespect for alarm, he still insane, no disrespect to hotba who played really well. No disrespect to Astro who as an argument for goat Main sup. But yeah, it’s pretty clear I guess the only argument you can make is that LIP looked upset with the loss, but that’s actually not an argument. LIP always wanna win, even if the coach says it’s not necessary. And you can see he was kinda the only one trying, maybe along with Fleta. Against NYXL had 3 EMP’s, hacked a primal, ball and tracer (maybe more) and dps’ed with an aim arguably unequaled in the league all in 1 fight. He filled the kill feed with triple kills and more, multiple times. Way more than Flora. And that was while his team was clearly sandbagging and he himself struggled with the dilemma of “should or shouldn’t I try to win.” If I single handedly hard carry in owl and you still lose, sandbagging or not that kinda sucks. (And they still almost won against NYXL)

Ball changes are explicitly targeted to his stall potential on 2CP and 2CP-ish 3rd points on escort/hybrid. Now that you can't roll out and be on the point in less than 3 seconds after respawning with his 600 HP, adaptive shields and extreme mobility, 2CP stalls with Ball would be a little less common and frustrating. Reducing the cast time from 0.2 to 0 seconds isn't really something all that noticeable, especially if aren't playing on LAN with best PC possible, and the duration of adaptive shields is basically pointless - Ball players mostly cast them just before they intend to run away for healing anyway, and you can't run away faster than 4 seconds, it means you're dead anyway, because you'll get focus-fired. Edit: Hog's change is a buff to his team, not to Hog himself. Especially at lower ranks, where DPS players queue Hog to get a priority pass and singlehandedly gift enemy Zarya a grav in the first 40 seconds. Right now, if you have a Hog and enemy doesn't, you just lose on ult economy, because your healers are 20% behind enemy, and their DPS and off-tanks are 20% ahead of yours, because they just farmed 900+ hp from Hog.

I wouldn’t say London fans are massively disappointed as we kind of expected to be a bottom team with the hope of being a mid table team to the talent and ping but no it is a bit disappointing that they haven’t won 1 game this season. Personally I think a team like Washington has been the biggest disappointment of the season with how they were hyped up,at the beginning compared to where they are now. Honestly I think the big reason for London doing terrible this season is there dps. I mean there tank line and support line ain’t anything special but they are definitely serviceable in OWL but for most of the season they had Blasé who has never looked good in the league since joining around season 2 I think. Then there’s Hybrid who know one even knew coming into the League and he has basically been invincible in all the matches he has played. SparkR has looked good since joining but we just haven’t really been in a hitscan meta so he can’t really pop off as hard as he potentially could. With some improvements in the dps section (specifically the flex dps section) and potentially the support section I could definitely see them being a mid table team if coached well. I personally would give the tank duo a second chance as Molf1g has looked decent and I still believe that Hadi has potential to become good if coached right lol.

Molf and Hadi aren't bad, I'd agree. I think SparkR looks great, with a little work I think he could be a bargain bin ShockWave. I just really think their support line has been so mediocre, and Ripa is hit or miss imo. and as much as I hate to say it Blasé is pretty rough. maybe he could transition to a new role (iirc his in game calling is very good) but... yeah. he is the only player I truly feel belongs in an 0-14 team

I have to disagree, I don't think DPS is their biggest problem. I think their support line is where they've looked weakest, with Hadi maybe suffering as a result of it. The time when they looked best imo, when they went up against the shock and the mayhem, their support line looked good. When they look shit, it's because their support line is shit.

I believe it's also any ActiBlizz related activities. Being that Plat Chat discusses Overwatch, which is an ActiBlizz IP, it automatically extends to them as well. Which is shit, because these guys have done nothing to lose sponsorships from anybody but I guess the overarching message is a bigger point to make for T-Mobile than it is for them to pick through all the minor details with a fine-tooth comb.

playing a lot of moira. her biotic grasp self-heal is a completely pointless buff. my only change i would give her would be press ability 2 again after throwing to reverse the direction of biotic orb after it being thrown. balance this by increasing cooldown and reducing heal/per/sec. cause it means you can wiggle it backwards and forwards to focus heal someone, and if it bounces off in some useless random direction you can at least still get some use out of it

Me and a friend have been duo tank hog Dva for ages now, hog really excels with Dva by rushing in and just cracking a team in half. You have two huge damage sponges that can body block for your team while still applying massive pressure through their kit being so oppressive when unchecked, it’s crazy good

As a London fan I agree. They're easily better than Vancouver and Valiant, but then nobody is disappointed in Vanc or Val because nobody expected those teams to win a game

The hog change is massive no longer do you auto lose when you have a hog who cannot hit a single hook but manages to stay alive entire game and feed ults. Unfortunately this also means people are just going to say I'll play hog doesn't matter if I feed. The hog change just feels like them admitting no one wants to play maintank (and neither do I because what feels like 60% of the time you just get a hog as your offtank who doesn't really do anything) The problem with that is that the hog in lower ranks often doesn't do enough while feeding a shit load of ults. Every time you do get an advantage the enemy has atleast 1 or 2 ults because he fed half of them. For example they just high noon to break your rein shield and shatter 5 ppl right after you killed the max charge Zarya who has grav or whatever. Both those ults are expendable because Cree can just shoot hog for another ult, the rein gets bubbled so can just swing whenever he wants

Between Moira's fade and healing orb I find it incredibly hard TO die. The only way I can see her survival stats being poor is at lower ranks with the people that don't have the mechanical skill or awareness to maximize her abilities but still think they can yolo solo pvp with her.

It's not about hog being less desirable to shoot out, it's about not fucking your team when you do. All other tanks have an ability or movement to block/ avoid damage. Hog is designed to tank it.

its kind of amazing how avast can say that shanghai earned their break while s1 NYXL didnt. they won 2/4 stages and had a regular season record of 34-6???? at what point is something determined worthy or not. if anything, a break in season 1 with 40 games in a regular season and only losing 6 of those makes you MORE qualified to sandbag / take a break
