Actually, it's the mobile game Final Fantasy A New Empire for me, as it's a pyramid scheme. Sure it wasn't made by SE but it carries the name. Looking forward to the new DBZ game, still gotta finish Kakarot :)

I'll be honest, I didn't know where you were going with this until 2:20. That's sad... Dissidia (the crappy console one, not the SSSS Tier PsP ones) was so far in the back of my mind, I didn't even make the "disappointing FF game" and "the fighting game explanation" connection until it was almost too late and the big reveal happened. While FFvs13 is my most disappointed FF game, Dissidia Arcade (I genuinely didn't even remember its official name, that's how far I removed it from my mind until you reminded me) is an immediate second. In addition to the 3v3, forced online sessions, story, and lack of small details (like custom intros when characters fight each other, that was often the best part of the fights in Dissidia and Dissidia 012 besides the actual fights themselves), my biggest gripe is the gameplay wasn't as...complete as in Dissida and Dissida 012. Will shorten Dissidia and Dissidia 012 to just D12; D12's gameplay was incredibly fun and engaging. DNT just wasn't fun for me. It had my boy, Noctis in it, heck, he even had his FFvs13 outfit (something even 15 didn't respect Noctis enough to give him; oh, give him a cup noodles head, but not his coolest outfit...idiots...) and even that didn't keep me engaged for long. If the story and gameplay was like D12's and new fighters were released every so often, such as some characters from Dissidia Opera Omnia, an excellent source for inspiration (Jack Garland I imagine would be VERY fun in a D12 style game), I am certain DNT would still be alive to this day.

err there is 1v1 in Dissidia NT^^ though most disappointing thing in FF .. defo Patch 6.1 of FFXIV but I digress. Yeah I say FFXIII because even with the historical hindsight I couldn't believe that ppl actually like this game. But! thanks to FFXIII the failure of FFXIV 1.0 was now more understandable in my eyes and if I would recommend FFXIII to someone, I'd say just play through FFXIV Shadowbringers.
