It’s even crazier when you re-watch it again and notice what the doll says when the kid first meets him: “my neck is a bit loose, but it’s nothing compared to the other dolls” meaning his death from having his neck broken wasn’t as bad as the other “dolls” defects (meaning the ways that the other children died)… it’s absolutely genius writing and story development about this extremely dark and sensitive topic, but it is so well done and presented to the player… well done devs, and thank you Daz for playing this gem, I can’t wait for story #2 to come out

Also, at the end before the credits, where it shows Ron in the closet with the other kids around him, you may notice that the first kid is sitting in the fire (not next to or behind it), which could indicate that he died by being thrown in a fire. The second kid was sitting in a hole, maybe representing being buried alive. The third kid was in the trunk of a car, maybe representing being locked in there. Although this could be the case, these things could also represent that these are the places where the kids were FOUND dead, because Ron was found in the closet, he didn't necessarily die in the closet. OR LOL MY THIRD IDEA is that these were where the kids were hidden/ stored away, like how Rons dad put his body in the closet. Somebody could have burned the first kid, buried the second one, and hid the third in the trunk of a car. LMK WHAT YOU THINK!!!

Here are some things about this game that I think are interesting! 1. The door at the beginning opening 14 times symbolizes the fact that it took Ron's mother 14 days to find his body. 2. The reason Ron's mother didn't know he was killed sooner was because she only ever saw him at night. (In Vietnam, it's believed that spirits can be seen at night, ty for everyone correcting me in the comments.) So she had assumed Ron was still alive until she stayed home to take care of him. 3. Ron's dad is called "Mr. Redface" because alcohol can cause your face to be red due to alcohol flush syndrome. (It's because of a bunch of chemicals and enzymes in your face but I'm too lazy to explain it here). 4. All the other kids in the other world show where they were hidden when they were killed. (One kid was tossed into a fire, the other was hidden in a trunk, and the other girl was buried. The reason I believe this is because at the end, Ron is in the closet when he's sitting with the other kids, he didn't die in the closet, but instead his dad hid him in there.) 5. When Ron visits his dad in the other world, his dad is actually in the motel room, and Ron coming up to him is basically his spirit tormenting his father. (Which is why when Ron goes up to him in the other world, he keeps saying "Please stop punishing me." 6. (I'm not sure if this one is accurate, but I heard someone say it and I thought it would be interesting to add) One of the reasons that Ron might have had to use the radio was because his dad probably used it to drown out his cries. (Again I'm not sure this one makes sense.) Anyways that's it, I left out a few facts that I assumed were obvious, hope Daz sees this!

What I am confused is that if the mom didn't know that her son was dead for 14 days because she was seeing his ghost at night, how come the mom still saw the dad? Or is the dad missing or an illusion all that time?
@sister0fsinАй бұрын
@KrypticMe when they fought and the mother left. She left Ron alone with dad and told him to get out by the next day or she was taking Ron, so im assuming when he fled after murdering Ron, she assumed he had left and still being the neglectful parent she was, continued to come home night after night and not check in on him until the 14th day.

That was the most visceral and painfully emotional game I’ve ever watched. Child ab*se is something that just really really disturbs me. I cannot imagine how anyone could harm a child.
@humannoodlesoup9308Ай бұрын
Lack of control, mixed with searing rage, with no knowledge on how to cope. So the only release is to push pain on others that cannot defend themselves. This isn’t defending the dad, the actions were abhorrent and justice needs to be served accordingly, but everyone has the capacity to do these kinds of things, it’s just a dice roll. Abusive parents often WERE abused during their childhoods, and that became the only known outlet of coping with intense emotions. I deal with anger issues everyday. I’m much better off then where I was, and thankfully have the awareness to choose not to have kids if I do not take serious consideration on my progress with anger management. Trust me: it does not take much for even the calmest person to recede into primal emotional distress, the best way to combat it is with awareness of those emotions and knowledge of healthy coping strategies.

BIG sad fact: the message the mum leaves us about us getting lazy eating is actually because we are dead and the mum was worried we weren’t eating since the food was still untouched when she got back at night because we can’t eat the “magic” Ron’s doll does it nothing besides trick us thinking that we can still eat the food it comes back because we think we ate it but it’s actually never been touch the whole time Another sad fact is that when Ron’s mum knows about the doll and knows about the “dreams/hallucinations” Ron’s had because she was watching us while doll Ron was trying to bring us back to our senses but just thought we weren’t taking our medicine because the same amount would be there everyday and it’s sad to think for 14 days the mum actually thought her son was happy and they were free from the dad just to find him 14 days later just because she couldn’t take her son with her I’ve seen people talk about “why didn’t the mum take her son?” It’s probably because she was scared of the dad and also if she walked in the house to get Ron he could block the door and get something to hurt them but if she call Ron the dad would grab him and hurt him. The best option should’ve been to call the police to get her son after leaving but it’s hard to think of that after a fight she didn’t think the dad would go so far with a kid after an argument
@y310629 күн бұрын
Her kid should have been her number one priority. Even if she didn’t immediately call the cops, she should have eventually. She knows he is abusive. Even if she thought he wouldn’t go that far, she should have known that he likely would have still abused their son.
@coralgod698412 күн бұрын
She probably was scared and just wanted to run it was probably years of abuse and it’s hard to stand up even just asking for a divorce was a big deal and to try go passed him and grab the kid would be a bad idea because how mad he was and she would have possibly not made it out and no one would ever know

Small thing I noticed as well, when you enter the cutscene of the bottle at 9:11 (aka “don’t drop mummy’s wine) it smashes to the same rythem/pattern as at 23:48. It’s another great detail that subconsciously makes you connect the dad and Mr. Red face later on when it’s revealed
@isomisooАй бұрын
ill try explaining all the gameplay scenes : 0:48 door opens 14 times which shows all the 14 days the mom has come home late at night from im guessing the day the son died till the day the dad got arrested 4:39 the night the dad (mr red face) entered his room and murdered the son 5:44 the loose neck demonstrates the state his corpse was in after the murder 14:59 demonstrates the scene in which the sons corpse was approaching the dad , and the dad getting punished by going crazy from being haunted by the son 15:33 the motel card (spell) that was used to arrest the dad (defeat mr red face) 15:40 im guessing it shows how the mom found her sons corpse in the closet 17:42 shows mr red face strangling him aka the dad strangling the son, him passing out shows that he died right after that 20:49 the son throws the motel card (spell) to defeat his dads escape (mr red face) 23:56 shows that the dad is indeed mr red face due to him having a red face from all the alcohol.

That last fact was also a reference to the 2nd magic trick the doll showed Ron in the start. The rest I'm about to say is a complete theory and is not confirmed to be true: I think that the part when the doll DID show Ron the 2nd magic trick, was actually a changed memory Ron had to make himself feel better. He watched his dad drink and chug the bottle as he slammed it on the table 2 times, and broke the bottle on he third slam when he finished the bottle. Now, I know that Ron was sleeping at this time and that it doesn't really make sense, but remember; this changed memory happened day after the night Bruce (Dad/Mr. Redface) killed his son (Ron). Walkthrough for those confused: (Watching it a few times over helps too) 1. Mom comes home 2. Parents argue 3. Ron gos to bed 4. Parents argue more and mom walks out (just like at the end. We never saw that part at the beginning) 5. Dad gets drunk cause mom walked out (she was getting divorce papers) 6. Dad became Mr. Red face (his face gets red when he drinks) 7. He goes into Ron’s room (we saw Mr. Red face at the beginning) 8. He kills Ron (we didn’t see that at the beginning) 9. At the beginning we saw Mr. Red face go into the closet. That was him putting Ron’s body in the closet. 10. The doll and Ron aren’t actually there I think the entire game. Ron’s watching his death and trying to be positive and the doll is the part of him that knows the truth 11. We woke up to get the doll and said “Is that the gift from Mr. Red face?” The dolls neck was loose (Ron’s neck was cracked and broken when he died) and that was our ‘gift’ which is super sad. The gift was Ron’s dad killing him.😢 12. “Sometimes my master makes mistakes and this is just a small flaw compared to the other dolls” the master is Mr. Red face and the other dolls are the other children I THINK 🤔 13. The doll was trying to make it easy for Ron to except and was being nice 14. The reason we couldn’t open the closet when we woke up was because Ron’s dead body was in there 15. Doll was getting the boy to go eat. The reason we were home alone was because the parents were still arguing. We just couldn’t see it. The bowl kept refilling because he couldn’t actually eat it. He was dead. The doll then shows the drinking of the bottle. That was Ron’s dad drinking after mom walked out. He drank and slammed the drink down the same way the dad did. Dad became Mr. Red face. 16. “My master has taken your dad away” meaning dad became Mr Redface. 17. He really thinks his dad is a good person because it’s all he’s ever known 18. The dad actually used to radio while killing his child so he couldn’t hear the screams. That’s why we use a radio while opening the closet 19. Idk what or who we saw in the closet but it may have been Ron’s dead body? Idk 20. Go’s through the closet (was put in closet by Mr. Redface after he was killed) and gos through the ‘portal’ 21. This may be nothing but the portal was white so it might mean he was going towards the light or smth 22. Sees the forest with fire (this is the afterlife.) the cat is an angel or manager of afterlife and that’s why he knows so many Bruces 23. The cat finds Bruces location and tells the kid where to go to find him irl 24. The children popped out of where they died. The on in the car trunk was kidnapped maybe, the one that jumped out the fire died from fire or was burned alive, and the girl on the left was maybe buried alive. You can see all of them and the different ways at the end too. Even Ron. He’s in a closet at the end. They said “we are saying here for a bit, wanna join us?” They were actually there for the rest of time and Ron died and was gonna be with them at the end 25. We go through the closet and see our dad laying there. This is after he killed his son, walked out of the house, got a motel, and now he was saying “please…. Stop…. Punishing…. Me” because he was being haunted by Ron. Not really haunted but he is remember what he did and is guilt ridden. He is shaking and can “see” his dead child in the closet that he’s staring at that Ron came through. He can’t hear Ron speak to him because remember Ron is dead and not actually there 26. The Spell card is actually his dad’s motel card. Thats why it was in the room that the dad was in. Thats his motel and his motel card 27. His mom opens the closet and finds Ron. Ron is actually dead and I think this may be when she finds Ron’s dead body 28. We see him go to his room and see his doll floating. We see Mr. Redface holding him up (when he died MAYBE) 29. We are put in mom’s room and stuff but that part didn’t actually happen I don’t think. That may have just been Ron’s head 30. We go into Ron’s room and see the doll beat up. This is because we just saw Mr. Red face killing him the same way Ron was killed before 31. The doll says “My master took your mom away” I think she’s at the police and stuff 32. Ron has the Spell card (motel card) and the doll says “that’s the spell to defeat Mr. Redface” aka it’s the card that will tell where his dad is hiding so he can be arrested 33. The doll then tells the boy to go in the closet and look for his mom next 34. He goes into the closet and the forest with the children (afterlife) and sees them watching by 35. We see a door with bars on it. Looking inside we see a shadowy figure sitting there with there head in there hands. We see in the end that it was actually his mom at the police department. She’s crying cause she found her son dead 36. We put the Spell card in the room so we can defeat Mr. Red Face. (What we are actually doing is throwing the motel card on the floor so the mom and the cops sees it and they find out where Mr. Red face is hiding (aka the dad)) 37. They find and arrest the dad 38. We come out of the closet and see the dolls “magic” is fading. But what’s actually happening is that Ron’s body is still in the closet (took his mom 14 days to find him) and so his body is rotting. Remember at the beginning they said whatever happens to Ron, happens to the doll. 39. We see them arguing just like at the beginning of the game. It’s just showing us what actually happened during the entire game. Them arguing, mom walking out, dad drinking and becoming Mr. Red Face, and going and killing his son my strangling him.l because Ron “caused all the problems” and because he doesn’t want this to happen 40. Ron witnesses his own death 41. He was dead this entire time throughout the entire game, Ron just saw what happened to himself and solved his own murder 42. Us opening the closet and seeing ourselves. The doll always knew and was trying to tell him somehow the entire game cause he was the “knowing” part like I said before 43. He’s been dead 14 days and his mom will find him. His dad is in a motel room being haunted. Mom goes to police, the motel card is found, and the dad is caught. 44. In the end you see all the children that have been killed are in the afterlife and you see all the different ways they died Thank you for reading and I hope you understand now 🤗 if I messed anything up (I think I messed up 27-30) yall tell me and I’ll fix it ❤️

Hey daz you’ve probably seen this on KZbin by now or heard of it somewhere but there is a new horror game on the market called MOUTHWASHING that is as absolute masterpiece, it’s a story of delusion, insanity, choices, and human morality. It has a brutal ending and there are a lot of small secrets if you look between the cracks. It’s not a super long playthrough it took me about 2 hours, and it’s a really good, and really sad narrative.

I don't know if it's true, but in the end where the kids are sitting/laying down, shows how they died, like the girl got dumped murdered in a hole, the ginger being lit on fire, and the one in the car I'm supposing, kidnapping murder and the kid your playing gets killed and dies in a closet. I've been waiting on you daz to play this game, it's so depressing knowing how such adorable and innocent kids die such a cruel death. Watching this again, I only now realized that the dads "prison" is the cheap motel, and where the mom cries and the kid throws the so called spell in the room w the mom,is the actual interview room. Holy crap this is actually insane. Can't imagine that some kids actually go thru this.
@AngelDelight69Ай бұрын
It sort of implies that the ghosts are innocent and don't remember anything that happened to them. And I'm guessing all of those victims are from other fathers that killed their children.

Normally it's fun to see Daz play these games, but this video actually got to me. I'm currently 17, trying to figure life out on my own in a foster home with a parent who never interacts with me. When I was younger, my parents died. My dad was just like this, he abused me and my mom. But my mom never talked to me. Eventually she got sick of it and shot my dad. I always wondered if I could do something about it to stop it that night, but that always makes me think I would have died too. Good luck to all the other kids in these unfortunate situations. Even I can't find much motivation. You just have to exist I guess.

Im not sure if yall noticed this, but i think ron died on his birthday. At the beginning of the game, it opens to his mom coming home late from work. When he gets to the part, with the parents argument, Rons mom leaves and then you know what happens next :( The doll ron got was his soul/dead self guiding him through death which makes it even worse.

This is why I keep telling EVERY PERSON that saying 'why didn't you marry? why didn't you want children?' because of this. I may say I am good now. but only Lord knows what will happen to me in the uncertain future. I am so mad at my friends or family wanting children when they themselves are not a better person. Yes, there are circumstances where people GROWS to be good and better in time when having children. but do tell me, whatever happens to those children who's been unfortunate and succumb to this kind of selfish, evil and cruelty of 'HUMANS GAMBLED in being PARENTS'. good lord. 😢 WE NEED TO REALIZE that CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE in CHOOSING PARENTS. 💔

The ending children were in the places where their killer hid them, the child in the trunk, the child in the ground/grave, the child in the fire, and then Ron in the closet. There were also a lot of hints where Ron’s neck had been snapped, the dolls loose neck looks the same as Ron’s broken neck in the ending, as well as the mums neck which twisted when she asked Ron what he was doing hiding in the closet
