Alereza I think is like the young Alekhine at this stage in his career, He plays very risky, but brilliant, chess. And just like Alekhine, with maturity, he will play solid positional chess to reach the top. Currently he may win 4, but loses 3. To succeed, he will have to get +3 in top tournaments consistently.

Mentioning Alekhine similarities reminds me of a favorite memory of my young chess player days. I was a high C class player, but I loved the chess clubs in my home town, a smaller town Cottage Grove, and sometimes we would go visit the Eugene chess club. A larger city of course had some stronger players. But C.G. had James Bricher, a master and several time Oregon state champion. One night late (near dawn likely) after noticing I was playing pretty well, a Eugene expert said to me, "you are pretty creative, like Alekhine." Hehe, that might have been the best thing you could tell me. I did enjoy the book I had about Alekhine for sure.

Thanks for all the work you put into generating this content, being a 1200 elo player I have to say your analysis allows me to understand these games that I would otherwise simply could not or would miss out on greatly.

very few GM's think on the board...but Alireza's move g5 taking advantage of blocked bishop shows he's one of the few who does & does not rely on memory.

Magnus missed out on two top moves recommended by an engine. So he is human after all, when it comes to playing chess...Lol

I was shocked to see this game as a draw when Magnus has a huge advantage

The position became locked and Magnus was further advanced. But in a locked position it can be locked for both players. It is very premature to think Magnus should win. It all depends how the position is unlocked so there is no necessary reason for concluding that one player should necessarily win.
