The Ravens are so fun to watch on both sides of the ball. Loving this team! Everyone is locked in. Can’t wait for Saturday.

ZO has really come into his own as well. Very impressed w his turnaround as DC, that cannot be overlooked.

Remember Zach Orr brought in DC Dean Pees for a senior advisor role.💪🏿

@ when Pees was DC, his defense was nothing special, as I recall. I don’t know who brought Pees back but my guess is it was Harbaugh not Orr. Also it takes time to develop into a proper DC on game day, as we have seen happen w Orr. Imho

He's 31 (wait 32 now I think) & extremely talented... but younger than some of his players. We lost like 4 defensive coaches in the off season... so possibly (I do not know just speculating) there was difficulty communicating with older coaches/ players... so bringing in a veteran coach who had established relationships with the staff made sense...ZO & Dean get on the same page & Dean eases communication with established coaches until everyone is getting along. Looks like it worked.

I would say it was less about him and more about the players!!! If you see change when you remove/replace players it's the players and not the coach or scheme. It could only be the coach or scheme if you change the players and the results are the same.

@johnnypk1963 No it wasn't Harbaugh, it was Zach because he played for Pees and he said himself he asked him to come.

THANK YOU, KAY for giving Ravens defense their !! I never lost faith in our defense or ZO's abilities as DC. It just confirms there's never any ego problems with Ravens players & coaches. Marlo stepped up as veteran leader (marriage & a new baby will do that to you) & Zach Orr accepted help/guidance from Dean Peas. ALL players on defense (except Eddie Jackson) took accountability & drastically turned that defense around. I'm grateful to be a diehard Ravens fan from Day 1. NOW, it's time to stomp the Squeelers tonight at The Bank & send PQ, DeShon Elliott & the rest of the Squeelers home with a big fat L. LET'S GO RAVENS!! 💜🖤

It means that bringing in new players isn't the answer. Working with the players and elevating their game.

Okay but defensive stats are highly dependant on opposition… week 13 onwards the only good QB we played against was Hurts and they’re a run first team… so yes we definitely improved but word of caution the stats saying number 1 defence are overstated.

Valid points but multiple teams we played twice in that same time frame. Steelers and Browns both threw for 300+ in the first matchups and were barely able to move the ball in the 2nd matchups. We played the toughest opponents all season and won against some really good teams even with our defense being a mess.

@ oh true I hadn’t thought of that. Excellent point.

If they can’t beat the Steelers they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs.

no one in the secondary goes after the ball and that angers me so lol i love big hits, but take the ball away, someone keep an eye on the ball back there. I just miss that from the ed reed days. wish they would do some outfieild drill for the secondary so they can play the ball off the bat.
