With this new build I want it to be my ultimate 4WD so picking a set of wheels was important! We normally just run cheap bead lock rims and run the risk of them breaking or failing. For this build I decided I wasn't holding back! So I found these wheels and ordered them in and wow, I reckon these are perfect!! The quality of these compared to my other wheels is insane, we should have a hard time breaking these!! (NOT SPONSORED so unbiased opinion)
The build is taking shape now guys and I'm excited as to get more parts in and get this thing on the tracks!! yeww

I know in my zd nav the cat is literally on the flange connecting to the turbo so it will sound completely different when you swap out the exhaust since I get the feeling you ain’t gunna cop a cat on the next one😉

Question - the center bore, does it go all of the way through with the full diameter, or is it stepped smaller at the outside face? Your video is the first one I've seen where someone mounted them and it looks like I'd have no problem with these on manual locking hubs. I'm getting mixed signals from wheel shops.

I know they are 35s but what size? 315,70r17? And did it scrub much after cutting the guard? Wanting to put dirty life rims and 35s on my patrol but don’t want it to scrub to much with only a 2inch lift

Have you ever had any issues with splits in the side walls of the tires? I have the the same 35’s and all my tires still hold air but 2 of them have gotten splits from airing down to like 18psi, just wondering if it’s something common. Still rate them heaps, even for having them on the daily

And as a tyre fitter it’s ment to be the yellow dot not the red one bc the red one it the heaviest spot and the yellow it’s the lightest spot

If both red and yellow dots are visible on your tyre and you don't have any dots or marks on your wheel, red takes precedence over yellow and you should align the red dot with the valve stem. Cancelling out the high point takes precedence over the lightest point of the tyre, which can be addressed with wheel weights This was taken from google!!

Are beadlocks legal for use on public roads in QLD? Here in NSW, they're not.

Last time I looked they were not. Unless the rules have recently changed. Or perhaps he's simply going to run them illegally on the downlow (not good for insurance if he gets into an accident). I don't even think you can get an engineers certificate for beadlocks. If illegal, he's taking a lot of risk considering it's going to be his daily family car.

If I’m right, I believe it’s because the back lip is much larger, so the chances of it coming off that way are slim! The front lip is the one the tire machine goes around!
