all what they showing here 30% of china that all is above the $300 a month the 70% is on that and as low as $300 a year. most cannot even afford to use the high speed trains. and the huge % people lost life savings recently property scam and buildings so badly built you could use your hands to scrap concrete out supporting beam it crumble in your hands. and the amount big company's currently getting out chin as fast they can. china in huge cash mess even banks running out money, local state governments bankrupt, high speed rail in 9 trillion in debt lots car brand too going down. you do not need to look far to see china failing, and on top that 21,000 plus ev / hybrids going up in flames each year, one worst ive never seen a car rocket straight up in to the air but one did 3-5 meter straight up like a rocket the explosion so bad it blew the door off. save your money buy else where, spend money in china you only funding ww3, and usa top brass say china ready for war in less than 10 years but if they stay at current path fail it be longer so unless you like world wars spend elsewhere

Love your truck man. By the way, I am absolutely serious because it's perfect for people like myself who have a disability. It's much lower to the ground allowing a disabled person to get in and out since some of us have problems stepping up and pulling ourselves in. I wish there were more vehicles like this here for us who don't go very far or travel much besides going to the store and doing things around the house. Having the dump bed would be great for us who have a fireplace and have to get firewood. It's a really cool truck. Thank you for showing it and letting us see other vehicles that are out there.

Well as a car designer working in China, I have to say the the copywrite rules are the same here and you can't just rip off from others without consequences. We all know that JLR sued Landwind for the design of the Evoque and won. As for the cars on the list, only the Hongqi E-HS9 and Audi A8L Horch is available as of now and you can actually see them driving on the streets. The Hongqi L5 and Warrior M50 is not exactly available to the general public yet, the Qiantu brand did sold some of their cars but they already went bankrupt years ago, and the rest are either still prototypes or concept cars.

what you need to know is in china, all imported cars are slapped with a variety of taxes. so the $100k chinese made car in this video is probably competing with a $70k car in japan/germany/america that sells for 100k+ in china. so all things considered, these cars are very competitive. sure the taxes are a case of economic protectionism. but every country does that, america and its infamous "buy america act" for example.

As someone who consistently travels the middle east and personally knows somebody who owns a chinese brand vehicle from russia, and africa...and also knows someone who owns a chinese brand 800cc ADV bike, a lot of people across the globe are sleeping on these "wang's dong" cars. little do they know that the worst weather conditions are found on middle east, russia and australia. if these brands are performing good in those countries, american weather is a cake walk. people are missing the fact that for $100k, these cars are essentially providing its users with luxury feature that is found on $200k eauropean cars. remember when korean brands were laughable and now they would easily mop the floor with any household american brands? china might actually do it in less than 10 years...and some brand have already outperformed some american models. a few months ago, had the oportunity to ride in a geely. made my japanese car look like at least a decade older in terms of overall quality.

@tren133
@tren133 Жыл бұрын
Jeremiah only did the briefest of research on these cars, but the Yangwang pair do pack some pretty unique tech. The U9's DiSus suspension, for instance, allows for the car to drive at highway speeds completely level while missing one front wheel. It is also strong enough to allow the car to jump vertically (all four wheels) off the ground. The U8 can do a "tank turn" while standing still because all 4 wheels have their own motors. The U8 also has a snorkel because it is water proof and is designed to actually float in water despite its weight. So in an emergency if you tried to ford water which is too deep, the U8 will float in the water, and can turn the wheels at optimal speeds to let you drive yourself out of the water back onto land. And the snorkel itself is for a small gas engine carried onboard the car, which can be used as a range extender if the main battery runs out of juice.

The Chinese are essentially locked out of the US market, but many of these cars are exported abroad to many international markets. Base trim version recently started at as low as $63k USD in Norway, for instance.

@@tren133 good thing I dont live in USA, then. Like, the absolute biggest problem with Chinese cars is that outside of China, nobody services them. If there were at least a few workshops for Chinese cars in every country, Chinese car adoption would go off the charts. Now, there's like one China shop per per 3-4 countries, and if you want your car serviced, it takes so much time and money, it's not even worth it, unless car was brand new and you're a millionaire.

@@jafhu There is enough range and fast enough charging for it to still be a good deal, or else why would a bunch of Norwegians still buy this car? Hence even with subpar efficiency, and a brand that is entirely unknown in western Europe, it is nonetheless still finding a steady stream of buyers.

The reason that ArcFox GT is more powerful but slower off the line than a Tesla Model S Plaid is likely due to its lack or near-lack of traction control. When you’re trying to put that much power down through anything other than slick drag radials, you’re at the absolute limit of grip. If you took the traction control out of a Plaid, it could spin all four tires up to about 80 miles per hour when floored off the line, which is probably what’s happening with the ArcFox’s less aggressive driver assistance setup.

Something to remember about Chinese luxury cars: it honestly doesn't matter all that much how powerful they are. The traffic in China's major cities will prevent you from ever finding the top speed or acceleration figures, and there's a good chance that the owner is in the back seat anyway. Obviously, though, these aren't being sold to the truly wealthy in China, as they can afford the import taxes on premium luxury cars from other countries. Hence the Audi A8L Horsch. I can imagine that car selling quite well to the restrained wealthy who want to be pampered in luxury, but also don't want to drop half a million USD on a TOTL Mayback to do so. Well, let me rephrase that: drop a solid million on it. Import taxes in China are astronomically high. So, similar feature sets, appealing aesthetics, extremely comfortable back seats, looks great in black? Sold. China's business elite, particularly the CEO levels, still hold to the ideal that the truly powerful do not drive themselves, and tend to have dedicated chauffeurs to shuttle them back and forth. Of course, if you're taking calls or reviewing business matters at any and all times of the day, then a one to two hour commute through any metro zone around a major city in China would be a real wasted opportunity if you had to drive yourself, so it makes sense.
