It looks grand on Downton Abbey but no Americans need or use a formal Drawing Room or a Music Room. This house is designed for modern American style entertaining. The only qualm I have is the price. For that much $, I expect total privacy. At least 1,000 acres our West -at least 100 acres in Northeast. Landing strip for personal air craft.

Basement should be a survival bunker too(1#bowling lane would be nice(theater room).).Pool needs to be deeper(diving/slide) & longer to do laps daily.Solar panels/roof.wind power, man made pond stocked with fish& water wheel& pump to the side away from fish messed off.w/dock& small boat.4wheelers& lots of big people toys&big garden.Any rain that hits the roof rain gutters fill cement container that sprinklers water garden area.I would use German cement for building house& property.Old Rome cement was good,shells/clay/ash/rock&water-into paste & used as mortar/or cement between rocks/or by itself& metal iron but keeping impurities in casting new products/lasts forever.cement shined floors very industrial made homey. 😅I expect everything i want for that price.😊How many archers?square footage of house & everything?❤

People who dont live in Arizona wont get it. For where its located thats pretty sweet. Youre in one of the nicest places in the valley, lots of high end shopping, good social scene, beautiful mountain ranges (this video doesnt do it justice), you basically just bought the biggest party house for rich people.

The reason this house is so expensive is because of the underground areas. It's extremely expensive, time consuming, and labor intensive to excavate in Arizona as almost 100% of the ground is solid rock. I do not understand why anyone in their right mind wouldn't just build these facilities above ground, it would lower the construction cost by 30 million easily.

With secret rooms down and a basketball court, that's what a "most expensive house" should be and very comfortable to walk around, so much better than the house in Las Vegas

Small planes fly over that house about every fifteen minutes. Scottsdale airport is about 6 miles away to the north-east. This house is directly on the departure end of 21 (the favored runway). 42 mil to hear planes buzz your house every day count me out 😂

There are only 2 places I'd feel comfortable in that home. In the pool or in the range. ;) I'll bet the bathrooms are huge with high ceilings and they'd be uncomfortable, too. But if you had the bucks for that, you'd also have the bucks to rebuild it into a Not So Big House where humans would be comfy. (Thank you, Sarah Susanka, for putting into words what I had been feeling for so long.) If you buy her books, be sure to get the first one first. It's the best.

The fact people are that rich to afford stuff life this is honestly ridiculous.. no one should have to buy a house/property that much. A decent 2 story house, some land and like 2 nice vehicles is my dream. Simple.

THAT cost 50 million? At this point I feel like it makes more sense to just spend the equivalent amount on building regular sized homes on next to each other. Instead of one $45 million home that you won’t be able to afford the upkeep of in a couple years, why not just build 100 regular single-family homes on the same property. Then instead of spending millions on specialized rooms or facilities, you can just have different houses for different things. Like one of the houses is your kitchen and dining house. Another could be an indoor pool. They all look like regular homes on the outside.
