The under body roller spray is o.k but you really need to get the wheels of and attack the underside of the vehicles you detail .plus the under bonnet details need to be more in-depth. None the less keep up the good work 👏 👍

I Know you're not a mechanic, but do consider buying a breaker bar for loosening those stubborn nuts or bolts. They're cheap and effective. Also a bit of WD40 does wonders. And regarding the tailgate lock, if you would have removed the seven flathead screws which hold the panel underneath the latch on the inside of the tailgate, you could have unlocked and opened it that way. Nice car either way.
@willr322gt

Good job Mitch! I believe what appeared to be cacti were actually spines, which grow on the cactus. The spines can detach easily from the plant and blow away in a slight breeze. Essentially, they are similar to leaves on a tree. I’m guessing they blow into cars like leaves do. Deserts are usually very windy so when a car door is opened, a lot get in.

@@CKN215yep, the WHOLE TIME I was thinking “Mitch, you’re gonna get hanatavirus from this one for sure!!”
@Junyrmint16
@Junyrmint16 2 ай бұрын
Hantavirus is a respiratory virus and is only transmitted by inhaling aerosolized virus particles from mouse droppings so as long as he's wearing an N95 mask, or higher (which he is), he's fine. The gloves he's wearing are fine to protect him from everything else. You can't absorb hantavirus through your skin.

Some answers about the cacti: certain cacti species can actually reproduce asexually, meaning they don't need a flower or pollinator to reproduce. As for the lack of soil, that's not a problem either! Cacti can grow in sand or even gravel, and can't tolerate excessive moisture: making the inside of a car very desirable, combined with the heat and shelter from winter winds. The remnant gravel and sand in the car was obviously more than enough for them. The interior of BC is very dry, and they have native cactus species, so they might even have come from a cactus chunk that hitched a ride on the previous owner's clothes, or even pets if they were present. All it takes is a few decades of neglect for these little guys to thrive!

@larag4646
@larag4646 2 ай бұрын
To answer your question about the cactus, there are several "jumping cactus" and "walking cactus". One of them, if you even brush it gently, you will knock off a piece of it. It's how it reproduces, by getting stuck to something and traveling. If you try and pull it out with your hands, you'll get even more needles in you. Wind, animals, tumbleweeds, could have all gotten the cactus in there.

Mitch can you include a link of the exact damage free Tuck Tape?? I could use that to clean my vintage car before it’s restored so it doesn’t leak near the windshield like it has been. Thanks! None of the searches I have been doing turn up the same you seem to use. Thanks!

I don't understand why somebody would pay you to do this but not tell you to get rid of the old carpet and the mats. They obviously have to be replaced. They don't have any purpose by leaving them in there and it's more work for you
