Wouldn't have minded a one-hour video of this detail, TBH. It was... interesting. The vehicle under the mess was not great, but you can see how much there is to work with as far as a restoration project goes, after you've finished with the detail. It would be really interesting if you could get some of these vehicles back in the shop once the owners have completed the restoration of them, and give a complete before/after transformation - the detail is great but to see these abandoned vehicles fully restored to as-new condition would be next level. Though I understand that might not be possible because a full restoration takes time, what with sourcing parts and everything.

Do you have owners sign a waiver or release before you do the cleaning? I can see some people wanting money back or even sue if there's any damage to the vehicle (like the carpets, seats, "chrome-plated" door trim etc).

Mitch, I'm sure that many others feel as I do... there are some details that cannot be done in a single video, and have to be extended for the viewer to appreciate. The new owners of the Jeep go from "where do I start?" to "let's get going!", especially since they don't have to deal with the tremendous mess that you faced when the doors were first opened! It makes the rest of the transformation seem possible, and they don't have to deal with the mess (or the smell!). And you are a real trooper digging into what most folks would walk away from... I've been with you for years now, and whether it's a standard video or a 2-parter-- I'll be watching and clicking the "like" button! Thanks!

No way I would have missed part 2 of this after having watched part 1 .That said, as a subscriber from back when you were in your old location, I'm partial to the usual one part format. Super travail 👍😊☮️🕊️

It doesn't matter to me if you split your videos. I'm still going to watch them. I'm dumbfounded by the way cacti just grow ANYWHERE. We all know wasps will show up where ever they want. But cactus xD

11:10 fall off if you look at them the wrong way 😂😂😂 I wouldn't say I liked the change over the normal format, but I didn't hate it either; wouldn't necessarily mind if it appeared again (out of necessity, of course) as long as the overall format stays mostly the same (which naturally I would expect you to do :p)

Sir, this was amazing! No worries about a 2 parter video. Now the obvious. Unless they have documentation that this a RARE vehicle, it is not worth doing a Barrett/Jackson restoration on it. Restoring it to "Driver" quality is about it! For what it will cost, you could contact a Dealer called "WagonMaster" and buy an excellent original vehicle.

Split video fine by me. Prefer single video... but can't deal with them getting in the 30-45 min range, best are the 20-25... but I can handle 30... maybe even 35... but this as one video would been an hour

Hey Mitch, a couple questions: 1. When polishing the chrome around the windows, why didn't you use a 3" polisher or even a drill polisher? 2. You have a large air compressor. Why don't you use a Tornador? You do great work and I've learned a lot from you. I was just curious why you don't use those two time savers. I use them at my work and love them, especially the Tornador.

When it's a creator like you, whose community trusts them implicitly, I cannot imagine anyone being "put off" by a video being in two parts. One, because we know you would never pad it - with your schedule, when would you have time??. Two, your entire approach is based on efficiency - you detail with a boars' hair brush and vac to minimise muss and the re-cleaning that goes with it. Each video should reflect the detailing work required, not the other way around, just like each car sets how and with which products you will detail it.

2 part video was fine. Liked we go to see as much as we did of this clean up. Would love to see the final result. Coincidentally my hubby is watching Barrett Jackson auction as I watch this video.

I do not mind 2 parters--but I also love long form videos (I watch 5-6 hour playthroughs, soooo)

I’m pretty sure you could have lowered the back seat down to get into the far back easier. My father had a 1962 Peugeot 403 wagon and if you lifted the seat up from the join, the back rest folded down to make a great cargo area.
