Ryan, what an incredible point/reminder - people want to retire and have a house at the beach and they feel empty at the beach too.

Erwin MASTERFULLY answered the question about leadership in marriage. Ryan has a lot of growing to do in this area. The Bible never commanded the man to “lead” the family singularly. It’s a regurgitation of bad teaching that has many marriages in a chokehold.

1/3 of the interview I was tearing up, especially the part where u guys explained the “lazy wicked servant” concept. That was so enlightening. I used to look it up deliberately when I read to this part of the Bible but your interpretation cleared all things up for me. Thanks!

I just enjoy this guess so much. I do the same thing he mentioned when I am going through a very dificult moment, I focus on the past situations that seemed impossible at the time and God got me through them. I would both tell my self and see my self already overcoming the situation.I can't think you enough for this guest.

I agree that humans have a special ability to create and make choices, and it's a great gift. It means we can shape our own future and do good things in the world. Your new book, "Mind Shift," sounds like it will help people unlock their creative side and get rid of things that hold them back. I'm looking forward to reading it!

The presumption of Ryan P: “I already know where I am going to be in eternity.” Vs. St. Paul… “I am not conscious of anything against me, but *I do not thereby stand acquitted;* the one who judges me is the Lord.“ -1 Corinthians 4:4 NAB “So then, my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present but all the more now when I am absent, *work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”* - Philippians 2:12 NAB
@RyanPineda Жыл бұрын
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me.” Philippians 1:21-26 NIV Paul had no doubt where he was headed. Selfishly he would rather be with Jesus but he fully believed that God was going to keep him alive so that he could complete his work here on Earth.
@G-MIP Жыл бұрын
@@RyanPineda…Jesus has the final say as judge. We do not get to judge ourselves as we cannot take the position of God. This would be the sin of presumption. This is what St. Paul is clearly saying. Rather, we place our hope and trust Christ…as mercy is His greatest attribute. There is also no such thing as “once saved, always saved.” This false notion is a recent invention-and does not comport with the early church fathers and Apostolic teachings. The proper ancient Christian attitude and proclamation is, *”Should I have the good grace to go to Heaven.”* I realize this may be a lot for someone who has no understanding of Bible or church history -and attends a church started a decade ago. I say this in love and charity. Peace.

Can you elaborate on the necessity for Erwin to use scripture on this interview? Genuinely curious to hear your thoughts on this.
@rjthomasindyusa Жыл бұрын
@@AndyEun Its akin to two health experts sitting down and talking about how to optimize ones health and not talk about nutrition and diet...... The council of Christ and the Gods word via the Bible is pure sustinance to a true believer......
@rjthomasindyusa Жыл бұрын
@@AndyEun Essentially the Bible and the counsil of the Holy Spirit is a roadmap to the Christian life. I don't know how they can talk about getting from point A to point B in life without consulting the map. Its a red flag....
@dsolo0322 Жыл бұрын
The majority of people he pours into seem to be nonbelievers. So I feel that reflects what he’s talking about and his passion to finding nonbelievers and turning them into believers. Jesus taught mostly just in parables to nonbelievers, he didn’t quote scripture. Matthew 13:10-12
@rjthomasindyusa Жыл бұрын
@@dsolo0322 We are told that even the most elect will be fooled in the last day. We need to understand God's will for our life an that only happens via prayer and reading scripture. A pastors is an overseer of the flock. The flock comes first. If he wants to be a missionary... then perhaps he needs to step down from pastoring a Church. The Bible tells us over and over that scriptures are spiritual food.... sustenance for the soul. The word of God is the sword of truth that penetrates darkness and the lies of this world. I hope you wake up from the false teachings of these 'seeker friendly' motivational speakers who are pretending to be pastors.
