Rory Gallagher’s 1961 strat really should have been included, Edward.

Greenie . Peter greens 1959 Les Paul that went to Gary Moore who owned it for over 30 years , he sold it in the mid 2000s to apparently fund a divorce which is terribly sad. The guitar now owned by Kirk Hammett

Shouldve also included Erics les paul used during the john mayall/beano album sessions whic are responsible for those legendary sounds

What about Jimi? He often gets overlooked as a blues player but he was a "walking encyclopedia of blues licks" (I forgot where I read that quote but it was a musician commenting on Hendrix) and he played some of the fiercest blues you'll ever hear! And more often than not he would use his Gibson SG when playing "Red House".

BB King was playing an Esquire early on , not a Telecaster . I always assumed Bo Diddley's rectangular guitars were mimicking cigar box guitars?

On the Bo Diddly part .. it would've been cool if you'd mentioned the Diddly Bow. I really enjoyed your video on making one, by the way.

I always wondered where Bo Diddley came up with the rectangle design. Now that I know that he built some of his rectangle guitars by himself it makes me think that he might of done it that way because it would of been easier. If anyone knows anything on the subject I sure would be interested.

Bo Didley gave Billy Gibbons a guitar.. I believe it was another custom made guitar.. Billy loved it so that he didn't want to tour with it cause he didn't want to damage it.. So he pitched an idea to Gretsch and they agreed. they started making it and called it the Billy Bo guitar..! Also the Grestch Jupitar... I believe..

One every site i looked, lucille is a 335 but i trust you more. Is it a 335 or a 355
@shadowspectrum4 жыл бұрын
Its more a 355, the 335 doesn't have a varitone rotary switch or the stereo outs, which Lucille does. I think 355s also have ebony fretboards instead of rosewood boards like a 335. Lucille differs from a 355 though in that maple instead of mahogany neck, different headstock inlay, and the most obvious, no f holes.
