think it was about 12:14 where you said ''almost missed this one'' just above is a huge chunk of quartz that also runs at the bottom of the bedrock to the left, I would highly recomend you using that crowbar and slightly work your way through that big chunk as its a one way ticket for gold, not to say you are 100% going to find gold in it, but where there is quartz there is very often gold in or very close around it - just wanted to let you know! :) - Sorry for my potato-english

Great haul for sniping in a day!! Wow! When you were talking about finding jewelery in a creek that nobody else has come across it reminds me of a thought that I have often when I find a nugget, that I am the first person in all of creation to ever see that piece of gold. That rusty piece looks like the broken tip of a 'star drill'. A drill used to bore holes in rock for setting of explosive powders or 'rock splitting wedges. Star drills are used with a hammer and the drill rotated a few degrees with each blow of the hammer until the desired depth is reached.

So Pauly I have a thought that may seem out of the box but what do you think about diving for gold at the low pressure area by a dam. The river flowing then comes to the back water area. Seems like a low pressure zone would be created right when it opens up to the back water? Just a thought I had when watching Jeff Williams river model. Makes me think about maybe a possiblity. What your take on that

Mabey a really old railroad spike. Where rivers are they always have a bridge over them. When they pull ties over a bridge the spikes could have fallen in or people throw the old ones then they wash down stream and get all banged up. Idk just my first thought
@venomousgoose50235 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure it was a chunk of iron, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a meteorite. I've found chunks like that but my first assumption is usually that it's a part of old farming equipment or old rusty bolts. Or maybe I have a small meteorite collection 🤔
