This was mentioned in another video about the situation, but Tzuyu's parents were being threatened back home and told her themselves that she needs to apologise. The standpoint on this 5 years old situation should be that she had to do it for the sake of her family, career, and literal political tension between the CCP and the Taiwanese Government. I think it's a clear point that you don't want to piss off the CCP as a Taiwanese person, especially when a situation was caused on the basis that your actions offended their political position. The most that could have been changed to improve the situation was that the people who gave Tzuyu the Taiwanese flag should have also apologised, as well as editors or people involved in deciding what was aired was acceptable, surely knowing the possible backlash and outcome.

Females are far more pressured than male idols, seeing as females have higher standards of beauty and personality. For them to get more hate is somewhat not surprising, also seeing how traditional some South Koreans still are, considering Korean females are supposed to be polite, cute, kind, (sometimes) sexy, basically everything opposite of cold and "mean". As an old kpop fan, I can say that Sulli definitely has the most hate comments. The hate comments about her are so ridiculous to the point that I laugh instead of being angry at the comments. Every little thing that she does gets hated, every posts and every video. She trends a lot in naver and has an article written about her almost every single day or week, it's actually crazy how her haters and reporters are obsessed with her. Before y’all start accusing me of siding with Mina, I will point out that I’m not taking any sides yet cause this scandal is far from done. We don’t know the entire story of exactly happened since both sides showed evidences but the question which one is the public gonna adept and who knows what other evidences Mina will bring to the table that might result in changing the public opinion. Remember she is mentally near insane so who knows what else is she capable of doing although both sides evidences is rather contradicting tbh. Hwayoung deserves all the hate and I am usually not a person to wish anyone anything bad. But I was a T-ARA fan even before the whole scandal broke out and I loved them all but I did have a bad feeling about Hwayoung and once the bullying scandal broke out I couldn’t believe it. I stood with T-ARA and was attacked for supporting ‘bullies’…it took years that these girls had to endure all kinds of hateful comments/attacks against them till the truth finally was revealed. Better late than never I guess but I am glad my queens came back and were on Knowing Bros even. 😩 They stayed so strong for so long. I am proud of them!

People are terrible!! this is mentioned in another video about the situation, but Tzuyu's parents were being threatened back home and told her themselves that she needs to apologise. The standpoint on this 5 years old situation should be that she had to do it for the sake of her family, career, and literal political tension between the CCP and the Taiwanese Government. I think it's a clear point that you don't want to piss off the CCP as a Taiwanese person, especially when a situation was caused on the basis that your actions offended their political position. The most that could have been changed to improve the situation was that the people who gave Tzuyu the Taiwanese flag should have also apologised, as well as editors or people involved in deciding what was aired was acceptable, surely knowing the possible backlash and outcome.
