Tower Court use to be a hospital for a little while, but a few years after it was abandoned. Me and my friends use to hop the fence and have a nose around (in the days before cell phones.) And we got to what looked like old kitchens, and there was what looked like a stairway down into darkness. However, as we got nearer to it. We all got a huge feeling of dread, and decided to go get some torches. As we got back with a torch, someone had called police that they had seen kids walking on the upper floors (probably us, as we went into the 2nd and 3rd floors, actually the rooms on the picture of it used in this is where we were.) Someone sadly we didn't get to see what was down there. But it was a creepy place abandoned. Dunno what it's like since its been turned into flats.

I remember shortly after that hospital closed down travellers moved in and trashed it.

@@davebunyan1162 yeah, it was already way trashed by the time we nosed around (think late 90s) but apart from climbing the wall. We didn't wreck anything.

@@mrsirty3019 Late 94 I started going in there squeezing under the gate on the chase side, it was a mess in there the. I dread to think what it was like by the late 90s.

So pleased I found this video! I took my family to Ely yesterday (29th Sept 2018) and we had a couple of weird experiences. As we approached the cathedral on the lane that runs between the Prior's House and the Canonry, I was ahead of my family and indicated that we needed to cross the road. I took a step out between two parked cars and felt as if I had walked into somebody. There was nobody there! I felt my arm forced against me and a hand push my stomach inwards as if pushing me aside. It was a bit of a shock! Later, we walked down to the large antique shop and had been in it for less than two minutes when my wife asked if we could leave as she didn't feel right. We left and she felt better, and I asked her what had been the matter. She said she could not explain but that she felt oppressed!

I’ve lived in Ely my whole life absolutely nothing has happened to me in any of these places, only paranormal thing was when me and my mates went into the cathedral and heard things, apart from that nothing else happened so most of this is bollacks

This is bollocks. I’ve lived in Ely since I was 3 and I haven’t experienced anything paranormal.
