After he dragged his girlfriend back into the room, he simply sat down and continued reading chat comments and drinking instead of calling the ambulance (he said that his phone was broken, and Valentinas had a password). A majority of weelchair users can walk, they’re mostly used for aid as many who use them can not walk for long distances. Again there is a very big issue with able bodied people assuming all weelchair users are unable to use their legs which causes situations like this. He did admit he wasn’t transparent with his audience about his physical therapy and process to recovery, so it would of been rather jarring to see a man you believed was weelchair bound “magically” get up and walk. I think both parties are to blame. The audience assuming he was fully paralysed and him for not being fully transparent about his condition.

Inquisitor's entire situation is deeply upsetting. From the disturbing live stream, to how unable and near- impossible it would have been for him to defend himself. AJ and Tito had absolutely no right to do what they did, their actions ended a life. A very wholesome and joyous one. And for what? That's the thing, it disturbs me to an incredible degree to know that there was less than likely- a probable reason for their behavior. It's even more heart-wrenching that the allegations were nothing light, and especially nothing he could just say "It wasn't me" or "I would never do that" to. It's unfortunate the path and the end the entire thing had. Rest in peace, Vincent Plicchi.🕊️
@Blue-Ayanami8 ай бұрын
The situation registers to me as AJ and Tito being unwilling to face their own actions and accept accountability. They had dug themselves so deep in the shit, that the options they had at that point were to either admit they had slandered a good man's name for clout, or double down and keep going. Given their age and limited cognitive development, they likely didn't even consider the former as an option at all.

@@Supercactusfr To be honest, I don't use social media at all, except for KZbin and other such websites. But if I am someone's fan, I would at least give them the benefit of the doubt compared to other people whom I do not know. Now, I know it's common for people to switch sides easily, because most people just let others handle what opinions they should have or how they should behave (it's called crowd mentality). But I believe it should be common sense to not believe everything you see online. I mean, teachers tell you this all the time, but apparently it just goes in one ear and out the other. Essentially, it's because people take things like social media too lightly, as if their actions do not have consequences. But in reality, whatever you say or do will most likely affect another person. In the end, it is the responsibility of the person who spread the misinformation and the ones who blindly followed it as a whole. His death could have been avoided if people formed their own opinions on proper facts instead of simply being sponges. But then again, it was probably mostly children, and children famously do not know what the hell they're doing.

The fact that you go to extra pains to point out the radicalisation of some of these awful people is genuinely a breath of fresh air. Some people are going to complain about you playing politics, but I think it's important in this day an age to make note of the context and the consequences of extremist ideologies when they meet with disturbed individuals. The way you present each one isn't praising them, it's not glorifying them, it's rightfully condemning them. Too many horror story channels would present these stories in a way that robs them of all moral and social contexts and as moments in history they are products of the morals and contexts of the society they exist within.

She was a 37-year-old Atikamekw Canadian who was admitted to hospital with pulmonary edema and was verbally abused and strapped down to a bed after they falsey stated she was having drug withdrawals, which absolutely wasn't the case and they just stated because of racism. She started streaming the events to Facebook as she had no one advocating or listening to her and she ended up dying there from neglect. Physically restrained and abused in her final moments. It sparked international outrage towards the abuse of indigenous folk in Canada's medical system, which exposed various other scandals and formed protests, but an innocent woman, a mother, died that day and it was all caught on live camera.

Man... The Inquisitor's story made me tear up. As a non-English speaker, words like sweetheart, darling, etc. are just simple endearment words and aren't inherently flirty in many languages, including mine, so I'm sure he was not being a weirdo. He was just trying to be polite and grateful, but the language barrier made him sound like someone he wasn't. The sadness in his eyes during the livestream broke my heart. RIP Inquisitor, you deserved better.

I actually used to watch votesaxon's stuff during 2016-2018 when Robot Wars was coming back. He'd even appeared on the show with the Push To Exit team in series 10 acting as an influencer. When the news broke out about it none of us in the robot combat scene could believe how someone that had been in the community for years would even do such a thing. Antweight Anarchy which is a robot combat show which he commented on was originally deleted for a few months while legal things were sorted out and the main guy behind it even left social media for a while.
