I feel like good trips are fairly uniform like a sense of merging with something greater(vast overgeneralization) while bad trips are very personally based/focusing on personal fears of the individual so it gives you more of an insight into their personal psyche

Bad trips are so horrible it’s impossible to know unless you’ve had one. I’ve been close to offing myself a few times because the bad thoughts become absolutely overwhelming. I was also in a pretty dark place mentally at the time but the bad trips made everything seem utterly hopeless. Don’t ask why I did it more than once lmao If you suspect you are going through a bout of depression avoid drugs especially psychedelics. Also if you are going through a hard time may peace enter your heart ❤️

ive had similar experiences. It's such a shame people have such distorted preconceptions of what psychedelics are. In the future we will have psychedelic therapy centres where people don't have to deal with that bullshit from others while they're having realisations and breakthroughs

Duly noted. I'm constantly trying to improve my audio and delivery, so I appreciate your advice. I've not got the best setup so I'm just working with what I've got for now and learning how to make my narration and audio better as I go along, but I'd like to invest in better equipment sometime in the future. What's scary is that some people are "Weak-minded" or have low tolerance, so it would take way less of a dose to put them mentally in the same place as some of these other people who take large doses and trip way too hard, developing HPPD, or being in a constant state of tripping even when sober. That's a possibility for those with a lower tolerance or aren't used to tripping, right?

While I’m sure that different people have different experiences based on inherent physical or psychological traits, I’m also sure that intent, set/setting, and being educated about what the ingested substance does are equally as important to the experience.

I'm not 100% certain with what kind of experience/trip all individual substances will produce, but I do know that DXM will produce something different than Ayahuasca, which is different than Acid, etc. I think it's interesting, although I'm not really a big fan of tripping/halucinogens, etc.

I meant it though as slang just describing people who aren't firm in their beliefs or feelings on something. People who are easily swayed on how they feel about something clearly have a fragile mind. So when tripping, they can have an epiphany or come to a point of realization about something may look at life totally differently when they come out of that trip simply because of what the chemical brought them to believe, as opposed to sticking to their original beliefs or feelings about something. Therefore they may be somewhat of a fragile-minded person, but this isn't meant offensively necessarily. Just clarification of my comment.

Curiosity: Do all things that make one trip have the potential to put people in the same psychotic, bad-trip, state? Like do they all put one in the same state, just depending on the dose? Like can LSD affect someone exactly as DPH does if the dose is right? Or same with Salvia, DeXtroMethorphan, MDMA, Ayahuasca, Shrooms? Like can they do the same as other substances just depends on if dose is high/low enough? Or do different substances produce diff trips regardless of the dose? Jw- cuz the stuff I've heard abt DPH is horrible n I don't ever recall hearing similar shit about Shrooms. Either way, I'll never find out personally. None of that stuff is worth trying/doin to me. Anyways, thanks for any input!

All these substances are chemically different, and act upon different receptors in the brain. DPH shouldn’t be abused in the first place, and it’s not a psychedelic, but more a deliriant experience. When taking classical psychedelics (shrooms, LSD, DMT), there is always potential for a challenging trip, but in most cases I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing. The experience may be difficult but it’s within these difficult trips that someone learns and grows the most. I understand that you’re worried about the potential for psychosis/HPPD, but it’s actually very rare for that to happen with shrooms, DMT, ayahuasca. Personally, the experience of these natural psychedelics are so worth taking if you want to learn more about consciousness, reality, and who you really are. The most important thing to avoid harmful outcomes to be as learned as possible about what you’re taking, and perhaps to ease into the substance with by starting with smaller doses and working your way up. Thanks for listening to my ramblings 😅

@@j222lian Oh, np lol. Always interested in learning in general. But no, I'm not worried about HPPD, I wouldn't ever do DPH in an amount to trip. I've only ever RoboTripped 2 or 3x. But in general I'm not really into tripping or psych substances. I was jw if enough shrooms or natural psych substances would ever give someone HPPD, cuz I've never really heard of anyone having a bad trip on the classics. I've never really had a (Bad) trip on Robitussin, just hallucinating my room was a winter wonderland 1 second, n I was freezing n covered in snow, then the next minute I was burning up n noticed it was cuz the corner of my room was burning, n the fire began to spread. It was only scary, because it was the middle of the night. I had Summer School the next morning, n didn't know if I should wake Mom n Dad up to call fire department n get them out the house, or if it wasn't (Really) on fire, I was just hallucinating. Lol just a bit of a scary night, thats all. Dad took me to Summer School next morning (Still kinda tripping) High-Stepping down the hallways at school. Couldn't walk right. Anyways, sorry for MY rambling lol. Was interesting times! Btw for anyone wondering, my dosage was 2 full bottles of Robitussin DM (Straight DXM, No Guaifenesin or Acetaminophen) Always try to get just DeXtroMethorphan, cuz too much Guaifenesin can make you just throw up, n Acetaminophen is too hard on your liver/other organs. But if possible always have someone to Trip-Sit you n keep you safe. It can be scary or dangerous tripping alone. Anyways, that's all, folks! ^-^

I have seen some cool things on hallucinogens however my craziest was on opiods. I swore id never take them again until one day my roomate busted out some oc not enough to get the power nods but i think the action of breaking my vow of abstinence had some profound effect. I later went to bed with my wife and as i drifted off my body vibrated until i had a sleep paralysis like experience with the sillohete of a hot see through women. She went down on me and it was tantric as she worked on me but i withdrew before I could bust a nut. Whats so bizzare is I got only mildly high hours and hours before this. I do believe the betrayal to my beautiful wife opened me up to a legit succubus to see if id commit the highest betrayal. This being was beautiful thankfully i resisted. Its just so perplexing since i wasnt tripping or nothing, I wonder what would of happened if I finished. I still believe i had a real demonic encounter.

Both times I took a lot of acid as if I didn’t learn my lesson the first time, I got naked. In front of everyone. The first time I was around my brother and my mother and my brothers girlfriend and they said I went to the restroom and came out naked and thankfully my brothers gf was like extremely nice to me and felt bad for me during the entire trip because she knew how it felt and my brother was on LSD too but wasn’t trippin like I was. My mom though was extremely angry which made everything worse. The second time I was with a group of my friends. 5 total people. And I was over at one of their houses. They said that they went outside to smoke a blunt and when they came inside I was completely naked on my friends bed and pissing myself. I apologized to everyone because I completely blacked out and didn’t know what I did and promised I’d never do drugs like that again. (Which I did but shrooms were much better trips) Everyone forgave me but my friends stopped talking to me and my family never looked at me the same…
