Hi Sophie, Long ago I had a Betty Crocker cookbook. It had a recipe for, as I recall, “Hawaii Meatballs”. It was made in the crockpot and was covered in canned pineapple pieces. I’d make them for my employees at Christmas parties and people loved them. Do you know any related recipe? Oh man have to make those meatballs!🌹

Are you a chef, or do you just love to cook?
@chriswilliams59822 сағат бұрын
Sophie every time I see you using a slicer with your hands literally till there’s nothing left to slice. I cringe because I’m sure you’re going to cut your finger. 😂😂😂👍. Every time I do it I never fail to slice my finger. Can I ask? Are you a professional chef, or you have it all in your head? I’m astonished at how you make stuff and always get it to come out great. Look I’m just curious. I ran my own business for forty years before selling it to a Fortune 500 company. It occurs to me that if a restaurant was open that only served home cooked meals like yours with say a changing menu of full meals with literally a family style service. Homemade bread, two or three different main dishes like a chicken dish, beef dish, and maybe a fish or seafood dish that changed weekly. I believe if done correctly, could become very successful. I’m not joking or just talking. I’m really serious and would be willing to fund such a restaurant. I admit to knowing nothing of the restaurant business, but I do know business and how to create and promote it. If you would be even remotely interested in such a venture I’d love to discuss it with you and your husband. I built my company from the ground up on this basic philosophy. Be the best, create a reputation for honesty, and taking on tasks others won’t, and then delivering above expectations. Don’t cut corners, and if you say you’ll do something then do it even if you lose money to do so. Treat employees as assets that aren’t expendable, and pay them better than your competitors, and make sure they know they are what makes the company successful, from the least position to the managers. That remains my philosophy in business and life. If it’s not of interest to you I respect and fully understand. Thanks for reading my comments.

The bread in the swedish meatballs section looked a little too brown to be white bread. Was that wheat, by chance?
@EssenRecipes3 сағат бұрын
It was healthy white bread, made with Quinoa, spelt, rye, millet and barley, no bleached flour.
