Tyler made a Genuine Mistake and I don’t approve of the narrator in this video treating him like he did it deliberately and he didn’t. Anyone can make a mistake under that sort of pressure it is so unfair for the narrator to just pick on him at all.

Two guys named “Mark” being know-it-all-know-nothings in the same list. Season 8 Mark was clearly the guy who peaked in High school and never got over it, while Season 9 Mark is the guy who had a huge ego to overcompensate that he didn’t move forward from dishwashing at his family restaurant. I remember watch the panna cotta episode and I remember feeling that Tyler did not take Jamie's dish on purpose. I think he did it accidentally (I can imagine the whole cast was under pressure where mistakes can happen). I got to give it to Tyler. He bowed out with grace and even apologised to the chefs and Jamie. Also, FilmSight, you don't need to go overboard with your thumbnails. I know you want to attract people to your videos but these over-the-top thumbnails in order to clickbait is ridiculous.

Let’s not forget that part of the reason Leslie’s team lost (aside from Leslie and Francis B’s poor leadership) was because Tyler KEPT EATING/TASTING the fish the entire round, reducing their proteins to half until Christian caught up and promptly yelled at him to stop eating the fish. Sure, Jordan was also useless, but Tyler should’ve been in the bottom as well. I’m surprised you didn’t mention that Tyler moment as well.

I think Tyler made a mistake because lets be honest it’s not like there were names written on them. I work in hospitality and things can get mixed up all the time. Give the guy some credit here. Mark is confident but lacked the proper knowledge and experience to back up his boasting, I get that this is a competition but you have to have the skills to back up your confidence otherwise you’ll look like a fool.

This is definitely more of a rant than actual review back up with facts. But he did hit the nail in the coffin with every contestant except Tyler. Tyler was mostly feeling the pressure and yeah he believed he put his dish on the top not the bottom. Hence why Ramsey did believe him because he knows Tyler wasn't lying on what he belief at that moment. Ramsey did know it was a lie but he knows Tyler didn't mean to lie because he just forgot all due to the pressure. Being nervous can either give you the blessing or curse of fhe adrenaline rush.
