As the story has been portraid, I think it's safe to say that a Yonko is stronger than an individual Admiral but, if any character is able to beat all three of them at once, than the power scale of the anime doesn't make sense, even prime Whitebeard or Roger should need some help from the likes of Marco, Oden, Rayleigh or Scopper Gabban to hold at least one of them off. Admirals are endgame bosses and even Luffy shouldn't be able to beat all three of them combined at the end because if he is that strong by then, it would feel like Bleach's Ichigo: way more powerful than is belivable for the universe he's within, or, as it could be, the admirals are that weak that Luffy could take all of them combined, that would be profoundly underwhelming. The only exception I can think of is Im, and that's because we know nothing about him, not even how powerful he should be and he does rule the world.

If a single character could defeat three admirals at the same time, then the marines would be completely useless. If your three strongest fighters can be bested by single character, then it stands to reason that the rest of you will be picked off by the rest of that character's crew and allies. When Big Mom and Kaido teamed up, and Kizaru asked Akainu if he should go to Wano himself (with backup I'd imagine), Akainu's stated reason for not allowing it was due to them knowing nothing of Wano. It wasn't because Kaido and Big Mom are monsters that teamed up, it was because of Wano and their disadvantage when it comes to information in regards to the country. That says a lot. The admirals are not to be underestimated. Akainu taking two full power quakes, not being knocked the fuck out and then fighting the Whitebeard commanders to a standstill by himself later on is evidence enough of that.

@@Thelategreat808 No. Strong enough haki allows you to defend yourself against devil fruit attacks. Law even said as much when the Supernova were fighting against Big Mom and Kaido. I think Kidd asked him if he could just teleport the Yonko away and Law said he couldn't because they were too strong. Admirals shouldn't be THAT inferior to the Yonko when it comes to haki, so I doubt he'll be able to do that to them either.

I dont understand why people claim Sengoku is a military mastermind. He was a terrible leader at Marinford: it didn't even occur to him that Whitebeard might make use of the bubble coating to attack, he let Aokiji freeze the harbour so that the pirates could literally walk to them and threw away countless lives letting vice admirals and below attack whitebeard. I would say he could even beat an admiral potentially. I think the only reason people think fugitora is stronger is because we haven`t seen the full extent of his power while with doffy we have which is quite impressive mind you. People seem to think that laws gamma knife did nothing to doflamingo because he "healed" with his strings, but this could not be further from the truth as even doffy himself says that what he did is not healing as all he did was stitch his organs together so he wouldn't outright die. The gamma knife significantly weakened doflamingo as we saw luffy hitting attack's in his base form and 2nd gear which didn't hit prior to the gamma knife at least not without the help of law. The point is that people significantly underestimate doflamingo pointing to the fact that gear 4th owned him. This ignores the fact that this was a near death doffy and that even then luffy failed to dispatch him with the first use of 4th gear. People also bring up the fact that he avoided a clash with aokigi and use this as a point to demonstrate that he is inferior to an admiral level force, but if you think about this exchange doffy only left because it was genuinely not worth the trouble to face someone equal to in power to eliminate smoker. So doffy is a lot more powerful than people give him credit for and he can clash and maybe even defat an admiral with the power we have seen.

Here's a theory: ancient weapons were feared not for their power (although they were powerful), but for the threat they represented to literally reshape the world. The Grand Line/Four Blues/Red Line is an artificial construct. This is why the myth of the All Blue persists. Poseidon (corresponding to Greek god of the ocean) controls the sea kings, permitting safe passage through the Calm Belt. Pluton (corresponding to Greek god of the Underworld) is a massive battleship rumored to be able to destroy entire islands...or blast a hole in the Red Line?? Uranus we know nothing about yet, but if the pattern holds, then it corresponds to the Greek god of the sky. One possibility is that it affects the magnetic variances along the Grand Line. Anyways definitely enjoyed this vid. I think Gekko Moria could potentially defeat all three admirals, if he acquired some very specific shadows (like a yonkou's). Would that require him to first defeat/surprise one of the yonkou? Yes! But this is a hypothetical!

Shirahoshi has another advantage besides being an ancient weapon: she can swim. On top of breathe underwater. Provided summoning a seaking still counts as one on one (they are living creatures with some implied self-awareness, so that's it's own discussion), she could just send wave after wave of seaking while she stays safe in the water. Cool to see this a year later and measure it against what we know now! I think it’s pretty clear that shanks would mess up a single admiral. Green bull was frothing at mouth though with the others that might not be the case. Another case to consider is Rayleigh. Though he’s a rare bird (being similar in reputation as other legends) he made it seem like in his younger days he could’ve handled kizaru much easier whereas Blackbeard fled from sakazuki (being his personality not strength). Safe to say Blackbeard might have been able to beat him but maybe not without injury. Though in the past Rayleigh and extension Roger may have been able to take on multiple admirals (though all 3 at once might be a lot) (Curious if Oda sets up luffy to beat him and the pacifistas as a call back to sabody)

Albeit normal powers based off of simple concepts like ice and Magma, the three admirals have the most balanced and unstoppable powers. Magma is the ultimate offense and defense. Getting an attack through a wall of Magma is absurdly difficult, and enduring a hit from a splash of Magma is also an absurd feat. Ice is one of the most versatile and difficult to counter defenses. There's an ice power character in like everything for a reason, it's absurdly effective! And offensively as well, it halts your attacks while encroaching on you and leaving you incapable of fighting back, ultimately destroying you. And light...well its light for crying out loud. Good luck surviving a death ray or HITTING that!

Theory: higher level haki is a combination of 2 haki. Advanced Armorment is combination of Conquerer and Armorment; future sight Conquerer and Observation. This could be from conquerer being a projection of will. Meaning advanced Armorment is Armorment with shear will being further projected into a small concentrated spot, and future is shear will to make that future show itself or to change it.

Before talking about taking down all three admirals we have to talk about taking down Kizaru, in other words: Which character can beat someone who can travel with the speed of light? You can't outspeed him, so you have to have a creative solution here. But even if you find one: Does this character have enough strengh for dealing with not only one character that could destroy a whole island, but three at the same time? None of the characters mentioned meet both criteria, I think. Either they are too weak or they are helpless against Kizaru.
