Also, enels lightning moves at the speed of light, so anyone who dodged that is also light speed. Also, kuma has an ability to produce light speed attacks with his paws (he’s not light speed, just his attacks) and they were being dodged by pre ts zoro. By using some common sense and relativity, any top tier or even commander in one piece is easily light speed, usually ftl, and maybe even mftl depending on the character (luffy). Just because kizaru can make, control, and produce light doesn’t mean he caps out at light speed. Nichiji from g66 can do the exact same thing and has even outran his own light, which makes sanjis brother (who he fodderized) ftl. Sanji has unrealistic speed feats though (he perception blitzed queen in base, the same queen who could keep up with marco, that marco also kept up with kizaru, making BASE SANJI far greater then kizaru in speed. Of course, this is without knowing the full power of kizaru, he probably much faster and hasn’t shown good enough feats. Kizaru will probably end up being mft just like luffy as we will see here in egghead. Get ready to stay in denial naruto fan!

Just wanted to say that translating "décupler" as "×10" is really shakey as is because, yes, this is the literal meaning of the verb, but in practice it almost always means "multiplied" in general or "greatly enhanced", the french translation uses this word to describe the Kaioken as a technique in general and it does not limit the use of the word to the Kaioken ×10, because as I said, literal translation and in practice meaning are very different things. Yea and the thing with One Piece is that they're not just dodging things that are light speed, they're using observation haki to observe the future and predict its trajectory to counter/dodge it. I feel like that's an important distinction. None of the Akatsuki have the ability of premonition (Except for Itachi (Sharingan through muscle reading)) but Observation Haki is much more of a supernatural ability and something most of the Warlords more than likely know and utilize. In One Piece, the fights are more "who can out predict who" rather than just being "who is faster".

Luffy and other characters were dodging lasers even before they got observation Haki. Even after getting observation Haki it’s made apparent that speed is still an important factor in dodging; Enel had observation but he wasn’t fast enough to dodge Luffy’s final punch, Katakuri had future sight but Luffy was just fast enough to avoid several of Katakuri’s attacks even in base, Luffy had future sight but Kaido was still fast enough to still knick a dodging Luffy, etc.

We’ve never seen any character exploit “catching Obito off guard” The only time Obito’s Kamui has failed is when he’s attacking and that’s because he specifically has to make himself vulnerable to attack. To be fair, Luffy was able to take those "island punches" from Moriah because he's made of rubber AND he's durable. Sure, Moriah was in fact strong enough to even hurt Luffy's rubbery body at that point, but I'd argue not by much. Almost all of the damage Luffy took during Thriller Bark was either self-inflicted from the Gears or from Kuma. Moriah unironically did only minor damage to Luffy. Hancock is the most beautiful woman in the world, so if Conan saw her, she'd be turned to stone. Crocodile got much stronger both over the timeskip and during his time in Impel Down. He's also a logia, so he's winning no matter what. Anything Daedera does just wouldn't hurt Croc. Also, there DEFINITELY aren't any "lightspeed" characters in One Piece besides Kizaru, a literal "light" man. Gear 4th Luffy is definitely NOT going "13 times the speed of light" or whatever. That doesn't make ANY sense. Again, the only character that can "travel at the speed of light" is Kizaru. My mans, saying Mihawk is "above the likes of Shanks" doesn't make anty sense. We don't KNOW if he is. Mihawk and Shanks haven't fought since before Shanks lost his arm, and that was nearly 9 years BEFORE he became an Emperor. Pre timeskip zoro is dodging lightspeed propelled attacks by Kuma, so in no sense shoul luffy have a reaction and movement speed lower than zoro or else pre timeskip zoro -> post timeskip luffy. Even with this, he got one shotted by Kaido in wano and said the attack was too fast, so that confirms Kaido is at least relative to lightspeed. Onigashima luffy still barely able to keep up with kaido, but dodged the bagua which puts him at either lightspeed reaction and movement or massively relativistic+. As the battle goes on luffy is now able to go toe to toe with kaido and clashes with him and ends up outspeeding him when he unlocked acoc. This feat should put him at relative to ftl

One way I like to justify equal stats battles is by saying it's essentially if you put their character in a different verse's ruleset. Like in Naruto, Lightspeed is pretty much as fast as you'll ever get outside of a few faster than light feats. So if you put a one piece character into the naruto verse and made them train from the ground up, they would only get as strong or as fast as people in that verse could get. Whereas if you put someone like the raikage or naruto into the one piece verse, they would require a lot less training and effort to reach the level they were at before due to how high the limit is there.

Sure, Law has Itachi beat in every stat possible, but he wouldn't know that Itachi can cast genjutsu with his eyes, or even what genjutsu is, so just one look at Itachi's eyes and there's Tsukuyomi. You could argue that Law could resist the Tsukuyomi, but that's hard to believe since only 48 hours in it was enough to hospitalize Kakashi. Itachi can trap law in a genjutsu with eye contact, so as soon as the battle begins law is already within itachis grasp without a solid way to escape the genjutsu. That point was made in the equal stats equation but not in the regular stat equation. It really just depends on how their fight starts. I think mihawk is just too fast and has more experience vs high level opponents. More combat skill too. Mihawk dueled with one of the strongest characters in series for years as they were growing up, and based off quotes hes actually stronger than shanks who is at least equal to kaido. The Akatsuki durability and hax are more than enough to compete with ppl faster than them. There's no one in OP that can even get through the yata mirror and itachi has shown that he can react to FTL attacks with that mirror. Kid Obito is literally seen going toe to toe with Minato who has proven to b FTL without using flying Raijin, then massively with it as the raikage's v1 cloak is light speed and his V2 is supposed to b as fast as Hokage Minato. Kcm1 Naruto was confirmed faster than V2 Raikage, Itachi is seen reacting to and clashing with kcm1 Naruto while Nagato not only matches or out paces him, but is able to actually beat him to the point that strongest attacks from combined Susano'o Itachi, Biju Bee, and kcm1 Naruto BARELY broke the chibaku Tensei which is strong enough to create a planetoid the size of the moon for Pain. Obito is then seen blitzing Kcm2 Naruto, 6th gate Gai, and a Kakashi able to pace with them and several Biju. Raikage said that Lightning Blade speed is able to tag him in V2 as Sasuke is even able to do it with the weakest Chidori. Deidara is fast enough to outpace Kakashi and react to Sasuke who is definitely light speed if not slightly slower by this point as this same Sasuke is able to keep with Itachi and barely dodge Amaterasu. Keep in mind that Itachi still had FTL perception even blind (perception and speed are 2 different things) and that means so did Deidara since he was training his eye to keep up with Itachi. Itachi's tsukuyomi is able to affect you within a nano to pico second which is definitely FTL and like you mentioned before, even if someone on the warlords could actually kill him, he has izanagi and a high intellect, so he'll just come back and kill them right after, same with Obito. Same argument for literally any other anime, no one ever states ''oh hes faster than light'' in an actual anime. We get scales from official data books. We cant really scale Kizaru because it is stated that devil fruits can grow with the users. So we really get it from the feats provided ex. being luffy dodging 3 consecutive light beams in base, then constantly upscaling himself in every arc. Its really just basing feats after feats.

kizaru is the only one with movement speed that is at the speed of light but other characters can react to lightspeed attacks. it's the same as when kakashi was stated to be able to cut lightning but he couldn't move at the speed of lightning

@@choppsy8860 those weren’t even lightspeed bullets they were bullets made of light and he was using observation haki to dodge so that isn’t even lightspeed reaction time

Plus, in the anime we literally see luffy having plenty of time to put his hand off of his hat and even then it wasn’t even 1 frame later that he actually started moving his head

Most of the time the warlords would loose equal stats due to them being strong physically with not having as strong hacks as the Akatsuki, no matter how you look at it most jutsu only involve high stats to learn and use but they do not change much with higher stats it just depends how good you are at using the jutsu. People like Law have good abilities but they are not good in a fight if you are not physically stronger then the opponent at hand.

Law with Haki is physically stronger than most of the akatsuki. And it’s funny how you bring up law cause even with equal stats law can cut up the akatsuki into tiny parts the second the battle starts. If you’re in his room you’re done for, and he can make it big enough to cover a small country. He also moves instantly with his teleportation, faster then light speed.

Luffy eating island cracking punches is not a feat for his durability. Its just his hacks that he is immune to blunt dmg. Also I rly don't think Luffy preskip can split an island since it was very clear that Moria with 1000 shadows was strength wise way above Luffy and only lost cause he was already so damaged that he couldn't control his abilities in addition to him mentaly colapsing at the end of this fight. If Luffy on his own rly was that strong think about what that would mean for Morias durability since he soaked a storm of punches from Luffy with 100 shadows absorbed and got up afterwards.
