Thank you genuinely! 😊 I'm grateful for your kind words. I've noticed that many people like the blue hair on Cora, I'm glad that you like both options haha. I think I'll continue with her signature purple hair though

Hey, she can dye her hair if she wants to, right 😂 Seriously, I think this is an amazing set for any beginner, so affordable and has everything you need. Also I think the purple was added as a shadow colour because it can be a way of using markers. The white can be layered after it has dried if it is acrylic, was not clear really. Beautiful job as always and thank you for the vid, love ya!

I really loved how you showed the two markers separate with swotching and then put them side by side on the same art. 🤗❤️👍🏽💯

Oh, they look lovely! But seeing stuff like this only reminds me of the cheap markers I keep buying in Spain, I've been getting markers for around 0,5€ for years now! In my opinion, cheap markers work almost exactly the same, and they're easier to replace.
@LucidNeema10 ай бұрын
Thanks Saakuchin! 😊 It's awesome that you've found affordable markers in Spain that work well for you. Budget-friendly options are fantastic, especially when they perform just as effectively. Do you have any favorite brands or specific markers from Spain that you'd recommend?

Five Below also has larger sets of bullet/chisel markers so adding those will give a robust beginner set. Their black illustrations pens are also really good and compare well to name brands. Another thing you can try if you want cheap markers is to go to store like Ross, TJ Maxx, Burlington etc, because they will sometimes have marker sets for cheap. I don't remember the brand but I got a set of 80 for less than $10, and some King Art sets of like 21 (portrait and pastel are the ones I got) for about $16 a piece but the Markers are bigger. Also I use the colorless blender. It's useful to push ink back when it bleeds, for wetting the paper so whatever color you put on top streaks less and lightening an area that's too dark.

If you've got a young/new artist, the 5 Below markers are a solid starter set. I think the Ohuhu quality is a bit better, but given that Ohuhu makes a really good, affordable marker as well, the difference is negligible. But for a beginner and/or young artist, the 5 Below set includes some basics that you don't get when buying Ohuhu. So I think it really just depends on your budget and what you want/need. :)

Spot on! Absolutely agree, the Five Below markers are a great starter set, especially for beginners and young artists. It's great to have options that cater to different budgets and needs!

Be right back, I must run to get these generic markers. I had already planned to get this last week but it's about to sell out along with the watercolor markers, I have a suspicion. Haha.

Lol it’s funny cuz I was just in a FiveBelow and I saw so many art supplies I wanted to get but I’m doing more digital art and couldn’t justify getting them. Tbh if I had a five below when I started doing art officially back in like 2013-2014 I wouldn’t have been so overwhelmed by how much money I was spending. Lol Ohuhu was the main reason I saved tho tbh. The five below one is amazing tho for the price

Five Below really has some hidden gems in their store. I've been doing some digital art recently, and it's way more budget-friendly than traditional art since I'm not having to rebuy supplies.

They look a lot like the Action and Tedi/Woolworth markers they sell here in Germany, those all run on the Shin Han Touch alcohol marker system. Need no new markers and got no 5 below around anywhere nearby, but I love seeing there's so many budget markers entering the market lately, really lowers the entry threshold ❤

Absolutely! The accessibility of budget-friendly markers really does open up opportunities for more artists to explore and enjoy creating without breaking the bank.

eu adoro ver videos de comparação, mas acho que vocês exigem muito de materiais de 5 dólares, pra mim se a cor durar pelo menos 6 desenhos sem falhar quando compro os marcadores da daiso já acho que sai no lucro

two years ago, I think my mother and I tried some gel pens from five below and those pens were Okay. Glad to see 5 below are have gotten better with their art supplies. To have affordable art supplies is truly amazing. Artists have a chance to explore different art supplies without the worry of it costing too much. thanks again for showing us what you can do with these markers.

5 bucks for a bunch of alcohol markers is worth a shot to try out. even if they had of been complete junk, its worth the risk of 5 bucks 🙂
