I think a fun run idea is give yourself the max hooks at start and piggy bank and then you can only take cursed items and weapons.

Torture could have single handedly replaced ALL of his healing so he wouldn't need to get anymore so it was definitely one of the best possible choices

he would have died on wave 16 without it, 22 hp left. in the last 5 seconds he healed 20 and 15 max hp so it "healed" 35 in total which is more than the 22hp he had

I was struggling with the Hiker as well until I tried harvesting approach (with the stick) to fix the slow leveling problem, and it worked wonders. This is the way.

3 minute sin and i'm allready facepalming. The +hp regeneration on level up is an incredible defensive item, and the bag would have helped you get more materials. Fortunately the luck was with you later on. Dex.exe has stopped responding.

I may be wrong… but I think when you combine a cursed item with a non cursed variant the scaling goes down. However if you combine two cursed items the scaling might stack?

I think you should mix in a crossbow or a sniper for end game. The range though increase hiking stick damage, it also decrease its atkspeed

I actually won wave 20 with hiker after dying only once… with Charmer i keep dying endlessly, especially at 11 and 17. No matter what I try. On the other hand, I saw Dex-Troyer IV with Charmer 😅 it was worth over 800, and since i always left more than half the material on the stage (no way to take it), i never got to try it 😢

Honestly, with the exception of pacifist, if a character prevents you from actually even killing the final bosses then it doesnt feel rewarding at all. This character needs tweaks so badly.

I think he is really not as bad as people are saying tbh. it didn't take me many attempts when using jousting lances. I do think he should have no negative speed to start and maybe have an additional 25% speed scaling, or something. it's okay to have challenge characters in the game though

I didn't have a problem to win (on his initial stats prior to the buff), but I hate characters where the goal is to just run away and survive, which is how it was for me against elites/bosses. Which is also the reason why I can't stand the Pacifist

Lol when i did hiker with this strat i got 650 range and then got axoloytle and then suddenly had negative -10 range but 640 life steal xD.... as well as 240%speed and a power generator. Was a fun run got to wave 37 before i got destroyed.
