I've spent the last 3 days in South Sudan with Bashar and this guy is truly one of a kind. We got connected through Instagram about a month ago, and I didn't know much about him or his story until I slowly discovered it as we've been roaming around Juba (the capital city).
Long story short, he grew up very poor without ever stepping inside a school, taught himself IT from KZbin videos and worked his way up the chain to run a multi-million dollar business in South Sudan.
Not only that, but he gives back a large amount of his wealth to fully support his parents and 14 siblings back home.

Loki Animations thing is, would we still have teachers, doctors, pilots, police officers and such (just to name a few) if the educational system was to teach us how to become rich? Wouldn’t society be overwhelmed with businesses ran by people with an ambition to become rich? I can see where you are coming from but we need a bit of everything in society, even if sometimes the revenue can be a bit low. Schools try to make of it’s students people that will grow up contributing to society in one way or another by educating them (or at least that’s what schools were intended for in the western world), teaching people how to make money won’t help if everyone wants to start a company. As prominent as money is, it isn’t everything.
