Same deal with the butt ugly Tundra. The grill dragging on the ground has no mounts. Turbo engine won't last a fraction of the 4.0. That giant screen will block offroad vewing.

Just for reference, how tall are you? I sat in the 2023 Tacoma and it just seemed too small for me, and I wished the wheel could go up higher. Is the new Tacoma any bigger inside?

I had the same issue. I'm 6'2. I had to push the wheel all the way up and pull it out towards me to fit more comfortably. Even then, it was off...

Not gonna lie it makes me irate that car manufacturers still dont put ergonomic head rests in any cars except for Mercedes audi n bmw. It really cant be that hard to make a head rest that actually matches anything that resembles the back of a head but nooooo head rest must be flat and angled downwards 🗿

Technically they are not called head rests but head “restraints” and were only developed to be a safety feature for when you collide in a crash to protect your neck from snapping back and causing a more serious injury.

I drive a benz and ive been hit by 2 random assholes running a red a pretty decent speeds and my neck is not only fine along with the rest of my body but my car completely totaled their and drove me home after

@@Bleazy710 head restraints that also tilt forward can also be tilted back to a more ergonomic position. The reasoning they have some tilted forward is because a decent size of the driving population sit in the driver seat reclined therefore tilt the headrest forward.

@@jackmiller2708 thats why their head rests r fully fucking adjustable it cant be more than 300-500 extra dollars to charge for them to include them in every car n charge that much extra. They could spend maybe 1-2mill max extra on development in the long run when they sell a million cars at 300-500$ over the normal rate which would more than make up for the development and those numbers are cute to manufacturers like ford toyota mozda chevy honda subaru and jeep

These new Takomas are going to get marked up through the roof. The demand is already so freaking high. Every video I've seen on it. Everyone in the comments is in love with it to various degrees. And it really just seems like America's favorite midsize. Pick up, just got better all the way around. I would be absolutely shocked if these things sold for a fair price for the first few years.

Nah we need toyota to progress forward. I would of prefered a naturally aspirated large displacement 4 cylinder(2.6-3.0) with a hybrid power assist. That way you get better mpg and linear power without a turbo.

I am a current owner of a Tacoma. I put a deposit on a 2024 but have one large concern. Why does Toyota severely limit the paint options for tacomas. If you want to sell the so-called luxury Limited model then give us some luxury colours like in Lexus or even 4 Runners? They should give more paint colour choices.

Paint is the least of anyone’s concerns. Mainly Toyota. They don’t care about offering so many options because they could paint them all black or all white and they’d sell them all no matter what. They are changing their whole manufacturing philosophy as well. They are limiting option and availability on purpose. There are automotive articles on this topic you can find.
