I have been diagnosed with Miniere’s Disease since the last 7 years, which as you may know, doesn’t have any test as such to identify it, and is a diagnosis by exclusion of everything else. I have the symptoms of partial hearing loss, tinnitus and severe vertigo. Doctors told me it’s Miniere’s and I practically lost all hope as there’s no cure. However, minutes before each vertigo episode (which can last hours), I experience a strong pressure on the back of my neck, and upper spine. I did test for cervical spondylitis but was negative. Your video makes so much sense. I am at a desk job in front of the computer for 7-8 hours, in addition to personal mobile use, almost always hunching. Thank you for this insightful video. Will try to make the necessary changes!

I have had meneries disease since I was 14, now almost 68. I got a lot of swimmers ear infections as a kid. Right ear is down to 52%, left ear is at 80%. I take melcizine everyday. Listen to your body/head, it will give you warning signs that you might get dizzy, or you just feel off. On a few occasions I have woken up dizzy. Nausea, vomiting, severe headache. Can’t handle bright light, loud noises. Sleep is the only thing that helps get rid of the headache, like hours! When I was young ( my teens) I could get dizzy in an instant and end up on my butt. I noticed after I had kids, the symptoms lessened, but I still can’t have a spell. If I feel off in any way, I’m cautious! I was also told it can be hereditary. My aunt had it. Hope my comment can help someone else. About 20 years ago I went to an ear specialist, he didn’t have a clue. I think he learned more from me than he did in school, never went back. I had no confidence in him. Best of luck to anyone who has this.

You are lucky, my mom sent me to one when I was 16 for meneries. The guy was a pervert. Had me take my shirt and bra off, put a gown on and while he was “adjusting me” felt me up! I went home and told my mom that I wouldn’t go back.

I have had to sleep on my left side for 10 years. If I try to sleep on my right side I get immediate vertigo. The VA worked on me for 3 months and could never stop the vertigo. I threw up many times during those 3 months during treatment.

MRI carried out with the neck flexed is more likely to show impingement. I have cervical spondylosis and experience vertigo and feeling faint when my neck is flexed/arched backwards.

I had vertigo that landed me in the ER and ER observation for 3 days. I had the Covid shots two weeks prior. Never had vertigo before in my life and no trauma to my neck.

Querying why some doctors are using different 'normal' blood pressure readings than they used to use decades ago - ie 120 over 80 was normal for many years, now some doctors are saying a lower reading is normal. This means when they come across a person with 120 over 80, they're saying they have a rise in blood pressure & prescribe BP drugs - just to satisfy the big pharma push for us all to be on drugs. This can cause episodes of dizziness because it lowers the BP unnaturally. This dizziness can result in falls, where bone injury results & hospitalisation is required & if a hip is broken, death may result - a typical elder death.
