i cannot imagine what euc’s will be capable of doing in just a couple of years. in the past two years euc’s have come so far, so fast. its extremely exciting to watch, and participate in this great community experience. my lynx arrives in two weeks (approximately), and i can see that i will likely have a small, medium or possibly large collection of euc’s, quite quickly.

I had a very, very bad 1.5 months of ownership with the S16 Pro back in April-May. BMS errors every week, Software anomalies between the wheel's screen and the app, suspension linkage rubbing and flat tire tubes- and for the battery capacity specs the range was horrible compared to my workhorse 18XL. Sold it for a few hundred bucks and ordered the Falcon immediately. For my use the Falcon, right out of the box, has felt much better in total weight, maneuverability and reliability 1 week in. Charges +80% in 1 hour with the stock 5A charger, ~7kg weight difference is massive, and with a battery 3/5 the size of the S16P, I've gotten equivalent 40km range from full charge down to 25%. Much happier with this wheel, and the direction overall that Begode has been going with their small offerings.

I am happy to read your comment even if it does not surprise me. As soon as the S16 came out when I saw its weight and its plastics...when I saw the first test done by Marty where after not even an hour of testing the plastic bumper broke...frankly I quickly understood that it was another stupid wheel from KingSong, not to mention their absurd system of casters for the suspension... in short at that time Begode released its prototype of the Falcon and since then I haven't stopped saying not to buy the S16 and wait for the Falcon because it would be much more efficient and I was right! Since its release, the Falcon has had the success expected of a compact wheel! It's time to thank BEGODE for being the only ones to make a compact, reliable, robust wheel with enough performance to have fun on all terrains!

It's nice to finally see an intelligent wheller who uses a cross tire to go off-road. Thank you for setting an example! :-) And it would also be good to remember that on this small wheel it is much more interesting to have a cross tire also for stability at high speeds. Since this wheel came out I don't understand why it wasn't sold from the start with a cross tire. Also remember that this wheel is not suitable for tall people, we must stop testing the Falcon with sizes over 1.85m... it is as absurd as an adult testing a bicycle child...

Wonder what the prices would be without the dealership model. Back in the day an EXN before freight was like 1350 and selling for 3k in the usa; it was wild, so people just did groupbuys. Gotway turned to begode, and dropped the groupbuy model, so... Now we're in this weird spot where things cost a shedload when they'd be affordable for most people if not for it. It bums me out to think about, it's such a fun sport and way more people could get into it if it weren't a ~100% markup
@eevees4 ай бұрын
No company is making a 100% markup in this industry and profit margins are very thin at the end of the day. In almost every industry, there are MSRPs and people can only buy products from a legitimate dealer. There's liability insurance (because Americans love to sue) that is quite expensive, employee costs, rent, the cost of producing these videos, etc.

I really want to get into the EUC hobby and can't for the life of me decide what to start with because I want to buy something that will last me, that once I learn it I won't be outgrow what I buy so quickly then here came the Falcon..I love rhe look ans it seems manageable to learn on but enough umph to last a while. What do you think. Oh and it won't break the bank either. It's costly enough to make me commit to learning it but not so costly to.keep me from buying it. Your opinion and anyone else's reading this. Thank you.

I think this wheel would be an absolutely perfect pick for you based on what you described. My first wheel was an Inmotion V12HT but it has no suspension and I'm 59 years old so you gotta be careful hitting large bumps. I moved right up to a Lynx and I absolutely love it. But if I had to go back in time this would absolutely be my first wheel. You will probably never outgrow it. You will only add to your collection as your budget allows. My only joke is that ever since I got into EUC's my mountain bike and other toys have been giving me dirty looks. 😂

Can you comment on the street or knobby tires? It seemed gabe was using knobby tire. Can he run through same course with street tire? (Curious if the street tire could go off road and up that 90 dregree incline at the end of the video) but gabes got skillz so maybe the tire wouldnt make a difference 😅

I’m going to make a video comparing the two when we get a street tire unit in! As for that hill, I’d be able to make it up, but only relying on more speed and not traction.

The construction of the Falcon seems to be a move in the right direction, but I would love to know: how is the slider alignment and stiction? Alignment was a huge issue on my S18, S22, and Master, when I had them. Always drove me nuts, needing to shim and faff around trying to get the suspension moving like it should. The Falcon really looks like it could be the wheel I've been waiting for =)
@boblatkey71604 ай бұрын
Mine was squeaky and it sounded kind of hinky but I lubricated it and it is good and pretty damn impressive for a $1600 wheel. It is zippy and Pepe and I have been taking it on some really steep rocky trails and it's a blast because you can just flick it around.

I bought one from ewheels. I don't have any real complaints except the crappy metal used for the screw hardware, and the trolly handle concept is terrible and very prone to damage which leads to misfunction of the locking mechanism, the cheap metal also bends the handle very easily. I wish these companies would use a telescopic trolly handle embedded in the wheel. Since the battery cells are normally around 3/4" wide there is plenty of room and extra batteries is not a valid excuse. I would rather have a wheel 1 to 2 inches longer (50mm) with a better trolly handle. I'm not going to notice an increase in depth that miniscule. All EUC's are basically great now as far as electrically based specs are concerned. Now they just need to start using a good trolly handle design.
