That meele weapon can actually be upgraded one more time: when you go into the catwalk, right where you picked up the spork, there spawns a number, if you kill a brutus at that number with the scalpel and then put it where you had to do the 100 meele kills, you get the max version of that which can instakill brutus infinitely just like the stake knife instakills the vampires on dead of the night

Okay so once you have the gold spork you don't need to get the kills by the bucket of blood, any melee kills will do. The final step is you offer the scalpel to the skeleton hand and then you must kill the warden on the catwalk ahead of the sign and then hold activate. Go back to the skeleton hand and there's the final step. Also, the weapon comes with a random AAT effect

I've done this ee twice, and I kind enjoyed it while waiting for a glimmer of hope for another chaos story then we got tag... I'm still kinda pissed of the fact that all those people complained about the chaos storyline and got it taken out

I agree with you except the part about Tag Der Toten. In my opinion it's easily the best map on BO4. I do really like the Chaos storyline and I wish they would have went back to it on CW instead of doing a new storyline. I will say the Chaos maps had way too many zombie types. I still love them and play them all the time but I like it better when it's just a few types.

i actually used this weapon as an xp farm. melee kills give more xp than normal kills so i did the power house pileup. at around round 70 or 80, i’d be level 55 and end the game. prestige and repeat. it still works to this day.

You forgot the final upgrade to make it a golden spork knife. All you had to do was give the golden knife back to the blood bath skelly then kill a brutis with only your melee on the catwalk next to the piller with a note with a knife in it then you could go retrieve the golden spork knife which isn't much better or really even cooler but if your gonna get the golden knife you might as well fully finish the upgrade. Lol

The Golden Spork is a 1-Hit until after Round 35. The Golden Scalpel is stronger than that, so it should be a 1-Hit for even longer.

There's more you gotta do, to fully complete the upgrade. If I recall correctly, it involves melee killing the Brutus on the catwalk by that piece of paper with a knife in it, then you gotta put the scalpel into the tub with the spork. Then just get a load of kills, and boom

Ethereal razor in your modifier slot and golden scalpel, sit in the spot in the wardens office where you pick up the acid gat part and spam melee. It’s the strongest high round strat in blood. You will never die because it kills all zombies in front of you and heals you simultaneously

Ethereal Razor in the modifier slot is so OP. It especially makes Dead of the Night one of the easiest maps ever. When I first started Dead of the Night I was having trouble training the zombies but then I found out I could just stay and run through the forest and instantly melee kill all the zombies that spawn in front of me thanks to the modifier ability

There actually IS specific spawn locations for the dog: One is at the warden's house, one is at the spin trap area, one is in the cafeteria, and the last is before the staircase to the docks, it then roams but I don't think it can roam towards docks. The most consistent and easy method I found is once you're done getting rid of your retriever go to the spin trap area to train until the dog round starts. Before ANY other dogs spawn in you can actually HEAR the spectral dog spawn in so you can just wait and take the fast travel to the cafeteria if you don't hear/see it. If it's not in those two areas you can just path towards the warden's house and see if it's there, if it's not check towards the docks area. A couple other general tips I have for this map is using time slip and the spin trap and also victorious tortoise you have a super easy high round method because the zombies are attracted to the trap if you stand next to the box location. Sometimes it can mess up, if it does you just pull your shield out and spectral blast. Make sure you put the shield in the tunnel and use the katana for movement and to kill in the tunnel area. Whenever the zombies are being attracted you can charge your shield freely. Also keep the regular door to the place closed, you still have plenty of time to do the magmagat running the other way. The upgraded shield can be obtained by anyone ANYWHERE on the map as long as they have a retriever and a shield. Whenever one person is doing the shield upgrade method they need to tell everyone to throw their retrievers out into open air, if they have it out when the main person throws it at the lock, ALL of their shields will be upgraded, saving tons of points and time. One more general thing for bo4 is the radial death pulse that happens when you pull out your specialist weapon. Whenever you pull it out, a circle forms around you that kills all regular enemies AND respawns them back into the map like you never killed them. You can use this to get good points quickly. But there's one more thing. The zombies don't all die at the same time, they die in a weird wave one at a time sort of like a chain. If you IMMEDIATELY put away your specialist after taking it out, those points from the zombies that are still dying will fill your specialist meter. You can combine this with double points and/or arsenal accelerator to get a ridiculous amount of points. You can sometimes even completely refill your meter if you have perfect timing/positioning. This enables you to theoretically get infinite points. I use this method to get upwards of 50000 points by round 10. Super busted.

if you wanted to waste more of your life on a single side easter egg, theres more steps to upgrade this. To finish off the side easter egg, you give the newly aquired scalpal and immediatly give it away to the same bath you gave the golden spork to. Following this action, you find a brutus and must stab it to death (yes, stab only, no shooting) on the catwalk (specifficaly around the sign with a rule on it). If done correctly, a knife appears on the sign, and you can go back to the bath where you gave up both the golden spork AND the golden scalpal, and interact with it to obtain the almighty GOLDEN SPORK KNIFE!!! dont know how much stronger it is, but its definitly not worth doing again despite its one shot capabilites of past round 40.

i have used the golden scalpel once before, but normally i just use the golden spork. also, it doesnt matter that it takes a while to get and isnt that enjoyble to get, if you are just progressing through rounds anyway, like doing a round 100 run which only takes a few hours you can easily get it throughout the run anyway

The step that requires you to get 100 kills with the golden spork you could have killed zombies in part of the map and it would have worked. Also for killing brutus on the catwalk you could have knocked him helmet off then got in dying wish mode and meleed him. So you don't need ethereal razor.

Ethereal Razor Tonic always one shots regular zombies if you lunge. Moving backwards will allow you to melee more frequently and hit multiple zombies, moving forward will lunge and guarantee a one shot.

You didn't finish upgrading it, you need to put it back in the bathtub in new industries and then melee kill a Warden next to the sign in the middle of the catwalk. (You'll notice the sign now has a knife if it). Once you melee kill the Warden next to the sign, which I highly recommend putting on Ethereal Razor on for, you should notice a piece of paper has fallen off the knife. Go back to the bath tub and interact with it a couple times and you get the golden sporknife, which has infinite damage and can even one shot the final Warden boss in the Mid 30s. Please go back and do it :D

The spork knife is infinite damage and 1 shots brutus. You have to put your scalpel back into the tub and then kill brutus with a melee kill on the catwalk near the water tower. Go back to the tub and you get the spork knife.
