Easter Egg begins with holding interact and crouching because someone on the ship is crawling while bleeding out, interact being used to symbolize the person holding pressure on their wounds to stop the bleeding. Once you get to the railing, you stop interacting, melee twice, and stand up, then swap weapons. Stopping interacting means the person is no longer holding their wounds, instead using both hands (melee twice) to climb up (stand up) the railing and eventually throw themselves over (swap, maybe their body tumbling below?). Now, why someone who is currently bleeding to death would choose to crawl all the way to that specific railing and throw themselves off instead of just dying where they were injured and calling it a life is beyond me. Maybe they were worried about being infected and eventually turning undead so they threw themselves to the water? (Keep in mind this is my personal theory and not confirmed) On a side note, I wonder if you're supposed to start the EE interacting at the base of the stairs and the location in the video is just coincidental. There are the same bloodstains on the stairs, and aside from wanting to keep it arbitrarily ambiguous, it might be more thematically and visually appropriate.
