I'm one who always struggled understanding genetics but it sounds to me that if you own a visual Witblits then you can't breed it to create other visual Witblits babies. That really sucks! Then how were the original Witblits babies created?

original witblits came from two hets and they were unexpected. with trial and error, people realized that the best way to produce healthy witblits and zeros was to breed het to het to get the visuals.

Dunner to dunner has been known to cause a weird issue with dragons storing food in their throats longer than usual which can be lethal.

Super Dunners we find are a bad idea. Dunners can hold food in their throat regardless if it’s dunner to dunner or dunner to anything else. What we see are myopathy issues and on going RI issues.

You can, but only if the zero isn't a visual translucent and also if the hypo trans isn't possible het zero.

A good pair would be a dragon that doesn't have any zero what so ever in them. Can't be het zero, 66% het zero, 50% het zero or even possible het zero.

Hypo zeros can be white, but I've seen some grey ones too so you got good lineage.

Surprised you didn't think that the Red Monster Beardies weren't the most lucrative.. I've been seeing CRAZY pricing on those.. Anywhere from $750 for a 50% Het to $3500 for 100% Dark Red Monsters and i think that kost buyers are fellow breeders so theres a pretty sizeable market

The problem with red monsters is that it isn't recessive and the look can be easily replicated in the offspring. This is why the price has dropped so much in just two years. Some red monsters are only a fee hundred dollars now.

@@chanceyeager585 what I'd say is try to find the most pure red RM you can find(least amount of black and orange stripes) I see a lot of clean RM leatherbacks and start breeding with citrus witblits, the darker the better.. I say this because I don't see many normal scale or dunner Red Monsters that are straight up red and patternless.. When you do see them, they're usually the more pricier of the hatchlings so I'd say trying to just find that pattern that you want to find without staying within or straying too far from the bloodline's beloved traits as QB alluded to.. Maybe try to get a nice colored citrus that's het for or is a paradox or an extreme blue bar and see how it turns out.. Plenty of dope ideas
