This game is like a love letter to Silent Hill. The Siren, the world shifting, even the "The Room" styled door with its locks and chains.

Also, the radio static noise when an enemy is nearby. The obvious Pyramid Head inspired enemy, right down to his first reveal being him staring at you menacingly from behind a locked gate. The similarities between Emma and Cheryl. The dev wasn't particularly subtle about it.

True, but the achievements ruins it. Shame because I wanna play it. :/ But they screwed up adding so many achievements. I can't play something where the developers were that stupid. It's too cringe and I wouldn't be able to take the game seriously. For real, they legit ruined the experience. Tis also why this game would NEVER be allowed on the PlayStation store. Achievements are converted to trophies, and no way would the PS store allow a game that has so many cheap trophies. 🏆

Lol I know people have mentioned the obvious bits that reference Silent Hill but I noticed that there is even a reference to the radio that produces static when enemies are nearby(as a warning tool). The enemies in this game actually produce a similar type of static which is a nod to that(more for immersion and not as a game mechanic).

While such a scene might be distressing for some, it could be made optional, allowing players the choice. After all, regardless of her fate, any child would naturally want to flee from a menacing environment filled with hostile demons.

Actually, I watched Moist Critical play this game, and it does teach me that, number one, the KZbinr can affect how people see the game. It's like, for me, I just kind of knew Moist Critical wouldn't like it because he's never scared by horror games. I can see why someone would like this game, but I can also see how someone wouldn't like it. Moist Critical is just not scared by horror games, and the scares that would make the game interesting just don't really affect him. He also thought of it as a bad game already, so legit, which is how it ended up on "Bad Game Night". Whereas other KZbinrs probably would eat this game up or would enjoy this game, as this game does contain an actual good amount of jump scares and it's not as monotonous. He doesn't really, you know, get into horror games like other KZbinrs get into horror games, so I knew this wouldn't necessarily, you know, get him.

Maybe its a translation issue that they use rusty instead of worn. It is funny though. It obviously lacks a lot of polish, but for a 1 man project it looks like a bit of fun.
