Amazing build. Definitely gonna try this on NG+. Bit of advice, you can improve your gun damage by an additional 15% by equipping a melee weapon with 5 augmentation slots and placing 5 kinetic coils in it. You gain the bonuses from melee weapons all the time unlike guns where they have to be unholstered to gain the bonuses.

Changes, Add Fusion Mod of Shielding to your chest. It has a great Synergy with Life support in the Tech tree because then your 50% health is always regenning to Full from the 50% health regeneration cap. Add Shield Oscillator To you weapon for +25% Shields each time your clip cycles (which is all the time, instantaneously) Finally Choose Hold the Line instead of In The Trenches because of the synergy between Hold the Line Fusion Mod of Shielding and Bio-Converter. Your health is already at 50% due to Fusion Mod of Shielding and your constantly draining it down to 30% with Bio-converter with then drastically pumps your Damage resistance (something this build clearly wants) Considering Damage resistance works with shields and health and you almost constantly being below 30% health your tankyness increases incredibly.

According to the sources I have read it seems that DR does apply to shields, but due to the fact that shields tend to be so low compared to HP, it just isn't as easily visible. Anyways - regaining 25% of your shields per kill is a benefit - regardless of the question if DR does or does not apply to shields.

He is getting 100% shield recharge every time he uses Charge, regardless of whether its a kill or not. Shield Oscillator would be both redundant and ineffective, while replacing the most unique mod slot available.

There is a bonus that is useful in auxiliary systems in the tech tree... it makes using Tactical Cloak reset the cooldown of all other abilities, including TurboCharge every 15s. Its called Omni-Vents.. (its a 50% cooldown rebate)

Since Rizzit, despite his great tutorial, forgot to mention that this build can ONLY be achieved later in game. This means that you need to pour at least 10-15 hours first in order to start following this guide, otherwise you will get confused by all the modifications, research, materials, money and development that he shows in the video, but that you might not have yet. I would also recommend to get a much clearer info in the description.

I'm not level 90+ yet (currently level 86), but this build still works ridiculously well. I added some tweaks for more raw damage such as: replacing charge with invasion for the beneficial debuff, picking the soldier profile for the incremental damage increase with each quick kill, and throwing more kinetic coils into a melee weapon of choice (I don't really melee much at all now). I can't speak for 90+ yet, but for level 86 everything still dies really quickly

So you switched to raw Soldier profile? Im currently using the Explorer profile Soldier/Tech/Adept hybrid and i already was using the invasion over Charge, as on insane difficulty you want to expose yourself to close combat as little as possible. @lv 83 here I like the evasion type on the Explorer profile as it makes you evade trough objects, but considering the bonus weapon damage and also incremental bonus damage on the raw Soldier profile, i might try it out.

The Piranha is just a sick weapon regardless (best shottie in the game, IMO) and I use it in a sentinel build that sometimes switches over to Andromeda Explorer --- singularity/incinerate, overload and warp. It made insanity relatively easy, although I'm not sure I could characterize it as totally Insanity OP. This build however does look pretty OP.

Piranha has been OP since ME3 Multiplayer ;p. So has tactical cloak ;p, which is why everyone played infiltrator on platinum. Tactical cloak allows you to free fire without being charged by fiends or kett ascendants, taking the heat off you while you do damage, and allows you to safely rez your dumb squad mates when they go down after taking aggro. Tactical cloak even stops the attacks of an Architect on you while you freely take out its legs. Also, lol at Drack getting immediately bent over by the Destroyer.

With twelve in the mag you may better off going with aerial performance optimizer rather than bio-converter on your pirhanha - 35% weapon damage while hovering (and combat tools lets you hover for ages while being more tanky). I like bio-converter on a dahn, not so much on a piranha.

Now I'd like to see you combine this with the already OP perma invisibility build using Cloak and Fusion Mod of Adrenaline! :D I'm currently using the Dhan and Isharay and so I can keep the invisibility up all the time, but I'm only level 25 or 26 but I don't have the amazing DPS you have and need to use melee and guns to kill. At your level, all you need to do is add the Fusion Mod and you'll have a perma Charge and perma Invisi build with constantly high DPS, haha!

This is nuts! I'm gonna add the mod for an extra 35% damage while hovering too just because I'm greedy. You have 4 augment slots on your piranha, I only have 3, your chest piece also has 5 augment slots and mine only has 4. Anyone know why that is? Edit: It's because you've bought the AVP perk for an extra mod slot and I haven't yet.

This is not the most OP build. The most OP build is Charge, Annihilate and Lance, using a Reegar Carbine shotgun as a vanguard. Nothing in the game can kill faster or has as much survivability. Charge and melee both refill shields. Annihilate primes and lance detonates. Reegar carbine melts enemies in .2 seconds, if they are still alive after lance / melee. I have tried every skill combination and there is literally nothing better. Insanity is a joke with this build.

Isharay (Legacy Heatsink, Plasma Charge System, Seeking Plasma) - Any Mods (Preferably damage as it's single shot) HORRIBLE PROJECTILE VELOCITY. Max Sniper Rifles Any CC Abilities / Shield Penetrating Abilities (Overload, Throw, etc) Soldier Profile. Impossible to get headshots reliably due to slow projectile and seeking.

"Boomstick build" FTW! I'm over Lv70 so my base Piranha IX has 666 base damage, pretty adequate number :p But with perks and IX Mods and equipment it has 1090, and then with the 3 active skills reaches 1800+. All other guns in the game feel like BB Guns, and with the nerfing of Overload and Shield drain in comparison to ME3 where any of them could take out an enemy shield in a single use in Insane, now the shielded enemies are tanks and take nearly all your ammo if they don't kill you before that because they don't even take half the shields out.

Nice... I almost have the same build, but I took minor different choices. I don't have turbocharge though but instead I got flamethrower. I got everything on shield regeneration and it's OP as fuck! Enemies can't get me down, but I lack a powerful weapon like this. Most of your damage actually comes from the weapon... it's just OP to mix seeking plasma with such a high damaging gun. But I disagree with one thing... do as many mods as possible. I haven't tried in depth now but you should be able to mount +2 mods, seeking plasma AND bio-converter... because they are all different augmentation types. The more mods you can get, the better. I just don't know if it's a good idea to drain health all the time... at least you should have 50% health regeneration included into your build. Did you? After all I got to say... Andromeda lets you make insane builds. My skills are already OP as fuck... now I need to find a suitable devastating weapon. Is the laser beam augmentation good as well? At least it's easy to aim and you have pinpoint accuracy. I am looking for a good weapon for this.

Nope forget the low accuracy guns, I tell you. I watched a video about gun projectile augments and the guy showed how bad guns like that perform. The Soned isn't bad if you keep the type of projectile and only install vintage heat sink... this setup works quite well but forget about laser beam. It appears that every shot hits (just graphics) but in reality there are still shots missing the target. The visual laser beam appears to hit but the enemy gets inconsistant damage... which means the spread is still there as the weapon still shakes around like it still fires regular bullets. I wonder if semi auto guns are good with laser beam... considering it's only cosmetical, it's fine for me but only if I have an augment slot to spare. Hmm... just want to have a different "skin" for the Remnant rifle to be honest... maybe with slightly more damage and bigger magazine... but I only hear bad things about this augment. Such a shame!

Thotkin Rifle with Disruptor Ammo (seeks and destroys shields, I have a level 3 at level 34 and it's still kicking ass), Incinerate/Tactical Cloak/Energy Drain. Keep load out light and go for wide area of effect. Kills about as fast, although not as hardened in defenses but very adaptable ESPECIALLY since your double jumps are mini-cloaks and help in evasion, it's the infiltrator equivalent.

Eh, I like mine more, biotic charge with 100 percent shield return, reegar carbine and piranha, energy drain primer remnant vi with primer, hyper gardian arms legs and head with remnant chest with shield oscillator on it and the piranha and reegar with some other shit that I don't remember but one piece of armour has an ability which gives me 100 percent shields when my health goes below 25 percent every 10 seconds.

This is quite an obvious build, you can consider how much buffs are for melee damage around mods and skill trees so... you can build pretty much melee only build with nearly the same build. With assault rifle and high stability and little bit of aiming you will have similar consistent damage output w/o skill bursting. because you can headshot consistently.

This game is great fun........but it does still have some bugs. I find that sometimes for no rhyme or reason that Tactical Cloak does not regenerate health, then at other times it does. So I also have a second profile with Charge, Tactical Cloak and Incinerate.........if things do start to get tuff.........take cover and switch to the profile with incinerate and toss that into the air a couple times and you have full health again. It seems with two tech skills equipped the health regeneration is much better. So I keep that in reserve.......just in case. With the proper choices in Combat passive your health only goes so low anyway.......but in some fights a ranged toss of incinerate is very helpful......spec it for full damage and toss it at such as an Destroyer and then Charge and you will get a nuclear explosion........grin!! Charge is a fantastic skill and should be worked into all builds. Regardless of how you play Charge is so much fun it is unreal.....plus it allows you to charge across the map into a group of out of range enemies then hit tactical cloak and burn them all down........ Yep great build, the best known if you like to use guns. I will add that the N7 Hornet with the automatic fire system, bio converter and whatever else you wish........is also neck and neck with the N7 Piranha.........its fire rate is unbelievable and combined with turbocharge it will eat up an Ascendant in about two seconds, the automatic fire system became available in the last patch and it is an Overpowered gift on both the Hornet and the Dhan shotgun.......it will change that slow firing Dhan to full auto and the damage is unreal. However 6 in the clip is all I have ever been able to obtain........but hey that is what the bio converter is for. I love the Pirhana......but the Hornet and the Dhan with the auto fire system gives the piranha a run for its standing........unlike the Piranha with seeking plasma .........keep both the hornet and Dhan vanilla other than auto fire and bio converter as other fancy things do not play well with these two. You can add kinetic coils or shield modules but stay way from changing the base ammo of these two. Cheers!! Kit

with a hack i reaced level 70. now i got so many points i can make 2 load out. one sentinel and the other this one. the only problem is that enemies scale. that means that my level IV piranha is not so nice anymore :)------ i also havent got cash and materials to build something new.... we will see :)

Very interesting hybrid build. I have a question regarding Turbocharge. You explained that you picked recharge speed over duration because the clip will finish before the duration of 12 seconds, but you are using the Bio-Converter and the clip never empties. Maybe I am missing something, explain to me if you have time please. Good job, keep coming up with more builds.

After rewatching this vid again i found that piranha gun is now not as good as the kett hesh shotgun when it has automatic build augment attached, also when you have bioconverter attached not only does it reload instantly when the clip depletes but it doesnt consume any of you ammo, making the gun unlimited ammo, also its damage is still very high but it has an advantage the piranha doesnt have, the hesh has double the rifiring rate making it dish out more shots an damage in a shorter time frame, i also use plasma seeking on my hesh gun plus some extra connetic coils for extra damage

bugsy lising almost anything tbh, backlash has a dmg buffer if it breaks for instance. energy drain should work too

I wonder how well the Fusion Mod of Adrenaline would help with this assuming it works the way I think it does. Every kill you get would reset the cooldown on your powers even if they otherwise suffer a -50% recharge speed penalty so you could just constantly cycle the abilities as you rotate targets. Alternatively, if you don't want to rely on kills, there's a mod that gives +50% power recharge speed for -30% weapon damage that you can reduce to -15% with a cryo pod perk & that measly -15% is easily overcome by loading a melee weapon with damage augments.

What augments did you put into the Kett set? Was that for both the arms & legs? Are there also any guaranteed ways to obtain the Bio-Converter & Seeking Plasma augs? I think I either used or sold them on a previous playthrough.

thats the build im using, all you need though is to fully upgrade all passive powers in all biotic tech and combat...
