Here's the IPA (international phonetics alphabet, basically an alphabet for every sound humans can make) for it: [dəbysi]. The Wikipedia article for IPA has examples of how those symbols are pronounced.

Optimal strategy I think is to just grind out one row and one column so that you can always block other teams while going for the win yourself. And then grinding maps is better than a quick win, because it doesn't matter if another team is just missing one square if that one square is impossible to beat.

Yeah, basically, ideally you would have 13+ players all grinding 1 map each that they are decent at on the column and row. Would be much more difficult to pull off with less than 13 since you wouldn't have enough to put 1 player per map. Also the more players the better since you would ideally want to have kacky players hunting kacky, tech players hunting tech, etc. More players would mean less chances of a player being forced onto a type of map they are uncomfortable with or forcing a player to take on multiple maps that other players are weak with.
