I try my best to balance going into detail and also not dragging the video on forever. If I talk about every single step, then my videos would be hours. But there's always the reference manual in case you need to know anything specific! That's what I do :)

I installed the Proto V2 and restarted Resolve 18 Studio. When I add it after the "Displace1_1" node, I don't see any effects on my MediaOut1.

I don’t know it sounds like you may be viewing something incorrectly or something may not be connected correctly. If you follow exactly what my tutorial shows you shouldn’t have a problem. Hope you figure it out.
