I am really enjoying it on PS4. I hope they fix the audio bug soon, as well as stabilise it on some of the larger maps, but the gameplay is phenomenal. The gunplay is fantastic, sound design is excellent, the fact that people actually communicate and coordinate on console is such a breath of fresh air. Mostly I'm just happy to have something that plays tactically and realistically.

Sandstorm on console is so sick right now- my only gripe is that there are no long death animations on Console, like the bad guys rolling around on the ground after you kill them. That was always one of my favorite features in Sandstorm

The crouch and lean right bugs are really bad... You can't use 2xs optics unless you're willing to forgo using the leaning mechanic and you can't go prone from a crouched position. That gets you shot in the head pretty regularly. The audio thing is minor because it doesn't really effect gameplay but those previous too absolutely do. Having camos not save is also annoying.

It's so fun being able to voice chat the enemy. That means you cant just be talking constant or the enemy will know you're near but it works to really spook someone and catch them offgaurd.

It's literally just them tossing a smoke on the body of another AI, they don't do it to preemptively cross a clearing, nor if they're under fire. Often they won't even go the route they smoked because they're assigned to hunt a player who is not near it/has a different route to them. Stupidest AI design I've seen in years.

It's more of: a fellow bot just died there, I should smoke that area. A bit easier to implement but achieves a similar effect.

It varies on each version when AI change. I do believe AI use smoke. Early on, the AI's see through the smoke and make it unfair to players. Later the AI's are typically blind in thin layer of smoke. I haven't played this game for a long time

I didn't realize that proximity chat was a thing, I was talking to a guy,(who I thought was my teammate). He asked where I was at. I told him in the cave, he chunks a grenade in there and I die. My teammates asked who I was taking yo and then they told me I gave my position away lol. It's a bit of a learning curve

This is by far my favorite game on console. To my surprise I have enjoyed “realism hardcore checkpoint.” Players VS AI. The AI pose a decent challenge. And the people who usually play that mode don’t mess around. I could easily go round after round for an entire day without getting up from my desk. Such a great game. I do hope the continue to put out updates and more content. I’ll never go back to COD again. This style game is just so much better.

Do yourself a favor and go look up a compilation video of all the equip animations for the guns. The level of detail is pretty damn impressive, they animate everything from taking guns off safe to the dust covers unlatching and its so damn cool.

Issues: - Audio glitches - Frame drops - A few game crashes (One crash said something about missing hardware?) - Textures not as crisp - Models sometimes disappear (When picking up rockets or spectating) - Leaning causes Magnification changes when using red dots + Magnifier - Animations not loading properly

I’ve had both good and bad experiences with other players. There’s so many times where I have accidentally shot a teammate and they’ve gotten mad and they even went out of the way to dumping entire mag into my body killing me and then throwing a Molotov on my corpse killing them along with me. quick sound tip 6:47 Whoever said you don't make noise if you ADS is incorrect, you'll make an audible sound *(a sound that's significantly louder than it needs to be imo)* if anyone is paying attention as you ADS and un-ADS nearby. Now while your crouch walking will make significantly less noise, you've made noise to ADS, so it's not going to be an effective approach against nearby players who are aware of such sounds.

Only game I'm playing rn on console. It is freaking amazing. Someone made a point that the gunfights are more satisfying on console (in many ways) than on PC, just because of the controller. PC with M&K, its just first to see them and shoots. With controller you got to keep calm and hit your shots, can't run around as much. Idk but I can get that, its so damn satisfying. Amazing game so glad its on console - same for HLL.
