The Love Hypothesis didn’t feel like an enemies to lovers to me honestly

the love hypothesis is not really enemies to lovers, at leas I experienced it not as enemies to lovers.

I agree. The main characters aren't enemies, but the male love interest isn't liked by people for various reasons, but he's kind to the heroine.

The Love Hypothesis and The Spanish Love Deception were so so good. I really recommend them! The Song of Achilles literally broke my heart and but also made me believe in love. One of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read.

I've read Under the Whispering Door and it is worth the hype! I don't do this often, but totally recommend it! The other book from TJ Klune is The House on the Cerulean Sea - or something like that (?). I'll be reading this soon. Dune is also worth the hype - I read it many years ago and will be rereading it in 2022 to go on with the rest of the series as well!

Malibu Rising was definitely my favourite book of this year. The family dynamics and there are flashbacks to the 50’s through out, I just loved it!
@keerthimurali19903 жыл бұрын
I think you should go for Malibu rising. I've been watching you for years and I feel Malibu rising is a book you'll enjoy because unlike TJR's other books set in the same fictional celebrity world, this book focus more on the importance of family and the relationship between siblings. We know you love books about siblings, particularly sisters. I wouldn't say this book is as deep and perfect as the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo or Daisy Jones, but it's absolutely amazing.

SoA is the only super hyped book I know I've read, but I read it when it first came out and everyone around me was, like, trashing it. I'm glad I didn't listen to them, it's very romantic and nicely written and I pretty much loved it! (I didn't agree with their crit at all, but to each their own and nothing is going to be universally adored)

I haven't read SoA yet because I didn't like Circe and I'm nervous! For me, the most hyped I've seen are: 7 Husband's of Evelyn Hugo, We Were Liars, Sadie, Good Girls Guide to Murder, Truly Devious, anything Sally Rooney (I haven't read any though), Lost Apothecary, They Both Die at The End, These Violent Delights, etc

A lot of people hated Circe and loved SoA, in my opinion song of Achilles is much more well written and poignant. Circe wasn’t it for me however I don’t think that is a reflection on the writer, only that the story could have been better.

I read The Midnight Library earlier this year (around the time it came out). I've read a few Matt Haig books before so I was really excited about TML. I did enjoy it and I'm glad I read it, but it felt a bit flat during some parts. Same with Invisible Life. Read it around the time it came out, LOVED Vicious so much (I still talk about it) but ILAL kind of felt flat and I couldn't really get into the romance very much. I hope you enjoy these books though (and all the others of course!!)

I would recommend reading the Four Winds ASAP. It is set during the Great Depression, but more specifically it focuses on the impact of the Dust Bowl on the people of the great plains/ Texas and it is heart wrenching. This is the first Kristin Hannah book I've read and it is also the first book that genuinely made me SOB. I learned about the Dust Bowl in elementary school and knew a little bit from John Steinbeck books but whew this book really educated me and broke my heart at the same time. Such an incredible read. Whenever someone asks for a book recommendation I tell them to read it hahaha

I just started reading Once Upon A Broken Heart. I am finding it interesting so far. From what I am reading, it looks like it is going to be a sequel series to Caraval. If I am remembering correctly from another video, you haven't finished the Caraval books yet? While it follows a new main character, there are references to Finale, that maybe considered spoilers from the very beginning.

The Love Hypthesis and A Spanish Love Deception... neither one of these are really enemies to lovers. In A Spanish Love Deception, the MC thinks they are for some unknown reason, but it's 100% clear that the love interest does not consider her an enemy at all. Neither of these books are any good, and they were a complete waste of my time. I gave them both two stars because I sadly read them all the way through. NOT worth the hype.
