Just a little article on the benefits of Gus Sha. Even though it looks scary, it doesn’t hurt and the redness goes away completely in about week. In my office I use it to increase spinal mobility. www.healthline.com/health/gua-sha Edit: Here is another article (there are many) on the theory of toxic release experienced during and after chiropractic (or the like) care: www.dynamicchiropractic.com/mpacms/dc/article.php?id=45547

That's really how it should be. You can see asymmetries and pain postures, but the real key is to feel. I can feel the previous injuries, scar tissues, overcompensations, instabilities, and tighness in fascia and muscle when I simply touch, don't look, while giving a massage. It's honestly incredible being able to see all that, without actually seeing.

When you reduce sensory input through one of your senses your processing power can be better allocated to your other senses. It’s one of the reasons why folks who ARE blind (or deaf) often have other heightened senses

Try talking to your chiropractor, there's someone here on youtube that uses something called the Y strap. It's not a very common thing chiropractors practice. But mine used to, they still ig have the y strap. Just dont due it much. Plus I've asked them questions before or just mentioned like the right axis. They explain it- also the points on the head or whatever that tell them what part of the body is off balance. Dr. Dragon uses the point as well. She doesn't talk about it tho.

@@IslayAnderson Actually measurable difference in pain can be felt after an "adjustment" from person to person which have been proven. What has not been agreed upon is via the proposed mechanism. It was thought a certain way for may years, even decades, but it is under study still because doctors, physio's and chiroprators alike cannot agree on the mechanism. There is not "nothing" happening on the table. We just don't know exactly how its working. Kind of like how there are some drugs that have an outcome that is favorable but we don't understand the proposed mechanism even years after isnt creation. As long as there are no fatal outcomes we continue using a drug long after we still don't know exactly how it works.

@@MikaelMurstam nope, she knew it from touching him. She explained it, too. "your nodes (i think lymph nodes) are swollen here." they swell up when you are sick. So she could feel it just well :) You can also say, what kind of sickness it could be from the areas, where they are swollen, but that's not accurate on its own. (example: a typical cold will most likely cause your nodes in the neck to swell on, but you should NEVER only rely on that!)

Just because his car was totaled doesn’t mean that’s what started it. It is a pretty strange coincidence but possibly not what started it. I got t-boned a few months ago on the back passenger drivers side and walked out with nothing but a little whiplash for the next three days. It all depends on how old the car is and what the extent of the damage is. Not knowing what the extent of the damage was to his car means we can’t just jump to conclusions about if that’s where it all started.

KaY7, you shouldn’t let your girlfriend control you like that. If it’s for your health, it’s good for you.

14:35 Does anyone else feel like they have a big ass knot right where she cracked him behind the shoulder blade? Like it never goes away, it is tight as hell, and it hurts too much to try to massage it out?

Definitely. Literally the only thing that has helped me is the CBD lotion from Whole Foods (they only sell one kind). Tried chiropractor, massage, exercise, etc.
