Guaranteed McDavid Pack & Canucks Auto Pack 👀 therthcompany.com/collections/all What is the most unbelievable stat or record you can think of?

Easily the most unbreakable record in NHL history is Glenn Hall, a goaltender who played 502 consecutive games. No injuries, no backup starts. Crazy.

That's absolutely crazy. I agree to that being at the top of NHL records that may never be broken.

Nowadays, most elite goalies barely play 50 games in an entire a season: Ullmark won the Vezina with 49 games played last year

When I heard that Brian Boucher got 5 straight shutouts (with a bad team on top of that), it took me 20 seconds to react because I could not believe it

5 shutouts in a row and the team still finishes last. I know there's 82 games but if your goalie is putting up alot of shutouts in one season typically the team has a winning record. Hockey is so weird I love it

Seen it before but the Fischer incident was always tough to watch. However, noticing that news ticker saying Anaheim assigned both Perry and Getzlaf to the AHL had me stunned and surprised. Little would people know what that pair would get up to in the coming years.

Before Ovechkin took the top spot for shots on goal, the leader was Defenceman Ray Bourque (6209), by over 500 to Jagr (5637) who was second at the time.

I know its been covered on this channel and many others but it still amazes me that Phil Kessel, a man who doesnt drink water, eats terribly and is not always in the nest shape come training camp holds the Ironman record

Phil Kessel is literally someone you would make up a story about in DnD as a renegade dwarf who is a half giant that thrives in a Tundra environment but travels the world battling with armour and equipment held together by tape. He literally sounds made up as a real life professional athlete

Here's a crazy stat. Bobby Orr failed to get at least one shot on goal in a game just 4 times. That's a shot on goal in over 99% of his games. No other player who has played at least 100 games can say that.

If I remember correctly, Orr is followed by Matthews of Toronto, then Ovi and Bobby Hull. Alex is the most remarkable of the 4 because he's kept it up for close to 20 years. He recenntly missed having a shot on goal 2 consecutive games for the first time.@@114MrCool

We do not speak his name. But if you really want to know... Brad Aldritch, a PoS who belongs in prison. The second victim of the 2010 Chicago incident recently filed a lawsuit against the Blackhawks. There's a video by youtuber UTree about the scandal and includes the toxicity of hockey culture.

Why do North American sports guys use "would" in the past tense all the time? I would go home after work yesterday, but I would go on to pick up some milk on the way.

Context. Doesn't make sense that you would have left work yesterday, you in fact did leave work yesterday. After leaving work you would then go to the store to get milk. "Past tense of will in various senses" makes sense to me. Why do brits call the trunk of a car a boot? English is fucked, both British and North American
@juliansmith4295
@juliansmith4295 6 ай бұрын
@@Itsthemoof Surely you're not suggesting that certain people using "would" instead of a normal past tense only when they're talking about sporting events is a dialect.
