Glad to see you coming back to the series after so long! I’m generally in the same boat as the rest of the community where I feel like this game isn’t on the same level as some of the previous entries, but it’s nice to know that you enjoyed it as much as you did. Maybe that means you’ll like the next two entries even more but we’ll see 👀

Glad to see you enjoyed Apollo Justice! I used to not like it much at all, but it's really grown on me. The way it criticizes the legal system of Ace Attorney in many different angles is such a unique way to treat a soft reboot. The OG triligy was about people making mistakes in the sysrem and needing to learn to be better. Apollo Justice argues that the system itself needs to be better to make it harder for people to tread the wrong path in the first place. Remember when you said you were gonna make a tier list video ranking the Ace Attorney cases? I'll hold you to that.

Soooo, I really wanted to make that tier list video, but for some reason I've lost the audio and footage of it, and my memory about them isn't as sharp as it was before. I'll keep digging for it but no promises unfortunately

Apollo Justice was my first entry to the series, so bias be damned but I vibe with the game alot. As the kids say, its peak.

Hope you do the Edgeworth games next. AAI2 is what I put at the top for Ace Attorney, and it does the inter connectivity of this game way better.

I fully agree Apllo is one of my favorites in the series the 1st and 4th case are some of the best in the franchise case 2 is fun and while case 3 has its problems but unlike the other bad cases in the past games this one at least has some story tie in.

I've played every game in the series minus the Layton crossover and yeah AJ is my 2nd fav. the games's atmosphere and boldness is almost unparalleled also many ppl don't know the Street Fighter 3 Third Strike composer worked on a handful of songs in AJ. his output is (partially) why the OST is among the best in the series if not the best

I feel like the main issue with the game is that it's different from the original trilogy, which is only an "issue" because fhe original trilogy was so damn good. I'm not gonna lie and say that Ema and Gavin are as lovable as Gumshoe and Edgeworth, but even so, it's very enjoyable. It's also the last hoorah for the awesome 2D visuals that used to define the series

Yeah, I've started dabbling in the 5th game already and it's a bit sad to transition out of the style I'm so familiar with, I'm gonna miss it!

Case 1 and 4 are really good, but 2 and 3 dragged on IMO. Definitely not the worst AA game
