this opinion might be unpopular, but - i actually loved the first season. for me it was not boring at all. it served greatly as an introduction of the characters and their motives. nice video, btw! u got a subscription for this

Absolutely, my jaw dropped during the 3rd episode of the first season. The 180 was so sudden lol. Also thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

same. i was hooked from the very first episode honestly. also it's just nice to see how light-hearted and funny it was back then because then the show gets very intense

this is what im saying! so many people say it's mid, but it has such great story. im not into the ships like soukoku or shin soukoku, i literally watch the anime just for the story. i love how most of the characters are independent, and i really like the story. the next episode will have the whole fandom in tears though haha

I was choking on my food when he said "they could be trying to slit each others throat, you know - and the next thing is there in bed with each other" - i just imagined weird stuff while he said that xD For your information: Atsushi is the MC ALONG WITH DAZAI. I'd sum up bsd with: non stop action + Sushi's seemingly endless internal conflict + Akutagawa screaming Rashomon for hours + countless new organisations vs current organisations + gaybaiting + Dazaiiiiii and lastly a dash of dark humor.

This season is just too good !!! I know this amime is underrated and people just say its all about Dazai but just look at its plot, animation, storyline and most important the characters. It represents the true feelings of emptiness and loneliness and how we have to overcome them to move forward in life. This is that kind of anime where u can't have one favorite character everyone has their own stories and presence. It's my favorite anime of all times ❤

Nice video! I want more people watch BSD and realize how good the show is. I totally agree with you! BSD doesn’t really feel like it has MC. Not that I underestimate Atsushi but because all the characters in the show (especially ADA & PM members) have their own interesting background stories and BSD really makes every single one of them shine. I’ve been a fan for quite some time and have read the mangas & light novels too. I have to say BSD author has such a brilliant way of writing.

i hope people got to connect the dots between character arcs bec along with Atsushi, it’s really fun piecing these incomplete puzzle pieces together. These are little bits i got from rewatching and reading some of the light novels . . . . . *major spoilers* . . . . . Azure Arc, the altered Light novel adaptation from Dazai’s Entrance Exam [season 1] - this is mostly showing Dazai’s capabilities and Bones deciding to let Atsushi observe as an intern hahahaha Dark Era [season 2]: Oda, Mimic, Port Mafia, Special Ops Division [Ango] = present day PM and Ango helping ADA through Dazai, first mention of The Book (but Francis was actually just lured to fetch it for Fyodor haha) Fifteen [season 3]: Chuuya, The Great War, Rando/Rimbaud, Mori [season 4 Yosano flashback arc] = a bit of a stretch to connect but Cannibalism arc is like the prologue for seasons 4 & 5 Untold Origins of ADA [season 4]: Ranpo, V, Angels [from the play], that one angel who performed death [from the play], Natsume carrying a special document (idk im just curious what it is) = ADA gets framed by somebody who wrote on a Page from The Book, Nikolai sliced himself, Nikolai is part of the Decay of Angels 👀 Season 5 = challenge of developed bonds (sskk, skk, Ranpo and his pride Lol jk- i meant ADA) 🥲 --- and then maybe season 6 might tackle about the challenge of humanity in its physical form 🫢 Storm Bringer [light novel]: Verlaine, French Spies, The Great War, methods of exceeding ability/gifted/skill users’ capabilities (such as Chuuya’s Corruption form) --- Dead Apple[anime movie]: Shibusawa was bored, Ango let him lurk in Yokohama to stop the underground wars, Dazai gave Shibusawa something fun to do, Shibusawa making everyone fight fight their own abilities, Fyodor just wants everyone dead Lol - we find an Atsushi-flashback…. Shibusawa being a scientist intrigues me bec Chuuya was also tortured by scientists 👀 --- BEAST [light novel and live action movie]: features Akutagawa’s origin story but took a completely different route for a different present era- all created from The Book, for some reason this Dazai knows about the canon story and Oda’s tragic fate there, and in other possible worlds too. --- There’s a lot going on and I live for it.
