As someone who has used GLs in previous wipes.... shootgun shell is for factory it will 1 shoot anything including Tagilla.

when I was doing Stirrup I fired a few shots at a PMC and then took cover. A second later the wall exploded next to me and the guy had got me with the GL. I just laughed cus it was the first time I'd ever been killed by one.

As someone who has shot GL’s irl (M203, MK-19, M320) these things are no joke at all, for example there is a round called the HEDP (High Explosive Dual Purpose) and it can literally penetrate 3” of steel then detonate. Imagine shooting the outside of a wall then having it explode; the person inside might not be that damaged, maybe shooked at most, but as soon as you penetrate then explode, that entire explosion is inside of the room absolutely destroying anything in there. EDIT: didn’t know tarkov had HEDP rounds, PS if I see anyone moving in game and walk into the building YOURE FUCKED

I don't think tarkov has penetration for that round yet, but I could be wrong I think they also detonate on impact and the detonation is what makes it penetration the armor or wall

M433 HEDP is a shaped charge, so it would impact, explode and then penetrate whatever it hits. The actual grenade casing and explosives don't penetrate the armor itself - it's only the copper liner.

Don't get discouraged bro. That is a common scav spot. I wouldn't have seen him if I hadn't heard him and seen scavs there 100s of times. I also have moments where I don't see someone and watch the video back and there he is wide out in the open. Theres so many things to focus on that it is easy to miss something. Just part of the game. The more you play the more you will catch.

How often do you have to deal with campers in this game? I'm concerned that literally anywhere on the map you can just get hosed down by some guy who was just sitting in the corner most of the instance. It seems really interesting to me that you can die instantly in this game for letting your guard down for even a second, or even dying to things completely out of your control (6:30). Very high stakes and rewarding gameplay but it looks like it can get really frustrating if you're constantly dying to chance.

somewhat often, your concern is a valid one, this game is pretty much whoever sees who first wins unless you are wearing some of the best armor and helmets in the game. A lot of people do just sit in corners and wait, it is very annoying but you kind of just get used to it, and you can start learning which corners to expect people in, I wouldn't let it stop you from playing the game

After many wipes, this game is oen of those where you just need to grunt through a lot for more fun. you reach a point where deaths and loss of gear doesn't bother you, its more or so the way you died that angers you. every decision made is based off the words "Maybe" "Maybe people will be at dorms" (A place on customs) overall its a great game it just needs fixing on cheating issues and such. and some better optimization for some maps... lmao

It can be that way at times and there's definitely a curve. But it's not really as simple as it often seems when you're watching someone get killed on video. A lot of players are savvy and aware enough that doing what this guy is doing to demonstrate just doesn't really work in practice. Camping high traffic spots is a constantly developing game between the people hunting for new spots and the people hunting for campers. IMO it's actually a lot of fun and pretty well balanced(when the game itself isn't getting you killed with its own technical issues).

Great responses from the other guys to your question. Its a big part of the game, the battle between the “rats” and the “chads”. Ultimately when you learn the game and play it more and more you will develop strategies and game sense to help you deal with anything you encounter. Even after 2000 hours im still learning new things and trying to improve

Damn how late is it in the wipe that people aren’t putting gpu’s up their asses while running killa armor and solid level 4 helmets with slaap plates with kitted rifles on street? I would’ve totally ditched the UN gear for that killa and helmet with slaap. Nvm the quest but would maximize profit. Did the raid guy have anything good as well as the one on the left solo guy of the building?

I wanted to get the task done in one raid so I just chose to leave the armor and the helmet was actually a tk fast so it was a level 1 helmet with the slaap plate the raid guy's buddy ended up looting him without me noticing so didn't get to loot that guy unfortunately. Ill do a better job editing the raids in future videos to show my thought process more

There is no such thing as fragments in Tarkov yet. All explosives are calculated on distance from impact and line of sight between explosive and body parts. Basically, a direct line sphere from center (of explosion). There is no such thing as overpressure, fragments or ricochets with them. The visual and audio effects of fragments are just that - for immersion, but no actual effect yet.

Interesting, do you have a source for this by chance? If this is the case then I would assume that a direct impact doesn’t kill because the “sphere” only interacts with one part of the body instead of multiple parts?

@@Vlady1337 Accept it on a "Trust me, bro" basis if you would like. Did some science with buddies. Veritas also has a video on this I think in one of his myth-busting videos. And body parts don't act as blockers for explosions. For example, if a PMC/SCAV throws themselves on a nade, it will not block the damage for nearby players. However, body parts still have something like about lvl 2 armor value for ballistic projectiles (for the occasions where for example you nail a hand>>torso>>the other hand or just couple of people in a collat). The impact itself also does some damage, but not sure how much and if it is insta kill in torso. I think I've headshoted SCAVs though. You could try to find a bud and do some testing on your own, it may be interesting and funny ;) I believe the shrapnel thing is not currently implemented due to server performance issues. Currently both the servers and client side start hiccupping when even just a few players start shooting simultaneously or spam semi-auto shotties //tested//. So spawning tens of ballistic entities (90 for F1 and 100 for Vog-17) all at the same time and sync-ing them between all clients would just spike the server. Currently are having hard time syncing even singular projectiles and animations, can't even imagine the inconsistencies there would be between clients and server in nade cases. For Nikita's sake, they can't even sync the weather and clouds/cloud-shadows properly between all clients in a server //test on Woods for example how for some the lake shore may be dark and cloudy, while for others it may be fully lit like a hot summer day//. To be honest, I doubt this will ever get implemented.

Yeah UBGLS never really get any love for some reason. I don't play Tarkov, but I'm terminally on Call of Duty, and I've only seen someone use a 40 mike mike maybe three times. Which makes no sense since you can instakill anything with them.
