For me it would be Sabonis because as a Kings fan this team has been horrendous this year, I don’t know what changed but Kevin and especially Harrison Barnes fell off of a cliff, De’Aaron fox has been a shell of himself due to injuries as of late yet we are still on pace to win nearly as much as last year, add to the fact that Keegan Murray has had a sophomore slump, and it sounds like this kings team should be NBA purgatory, but no. Sabonis stepped up massively, not on offense to which he still improved but defensively, he has gotten way more aggressive on ball with guys and while the metrics won’t say that, the eye test really shows how much he is compensating for his teammates lack of effort, again Harrison Barnes who is just running cardio at this point.
