if anything, it's OVERrated It's special attack stat (95 base) is ok, but not worth relying entirely on it, it's also pretty slow (70 base) and its best physical electric type STABs are Thunder Fang and Spark (both 65 power) because Wild Charge (with a power of 90) was only introduced in generation 5 The only reason nearly everybody used it in the generation 4 Sinnoh games is because there aren't any better electric type PKMN which you can get early in the game - if you exclude Jolteon, that is

Fly is pretty underrated imo. If you have a staraptor that’s near the level of the opposing Pokémon and it’s weak or neutral to it, fly can usually one shot. If it doesn’t usually it’s pretty close

@@jarrettstone4419 I'll edit it rn. Forgot to add my boy Gliscor. My teams often aren't 6 pokemon. I have a rotating arsenal. For example in Shield I have the main team as all the starters, Grimmsnarl, Dragapult, and Sirfetch'd. And in a rotation I have Galarian Rapidash and Shiny Male Jellicent.

I have used half of this team before in BD and I have to admit, they definitely earn their keep. I really enjoyed using Golduck as it was a Mon that would normally swap with something else, but it was super good to use.

Decent coverage especially since alot of ground types share the rock type) • Torterra • Luxray • Togekiss (Instead of Drifblim. Also togekiss learns Flamethrower which is Nice) • Drapion • Gallade (Instead of Medicham. I used Drifblim in my recent Platinum playthrough and it was pretty good! My Drifblim was more on the Sp. Attack side so I gave it Air Cutter despite it being a weak move. You don't get the Sharp Beak or Sky Plate until the end to boost it up but Drifblim was still serviceable as a Ghost/Flying type on my team.

These underrated team videos are not supposed to have underrated Pokémon themselves, but more so Pokémon that get outshined by others in battle. Luxray is a very popular Pokémon, but when it comes to battling in a play through, most people recommend jolteon or magnezone instead this making luxray the underdog.

From what I've seen scouring the Pokétube side of things: 1. The way it looks (cause it has a lot of black) 2. Learns a lot of dark moves (which doesn't make sense to me since that would mean many normal types would have a secondary typing)
