When you say it depends on what you value when referencing the pantoja fight it is simply wrong😂. There is a definitive criteria and what you value doesn't matter. It states that the winner of the round should be the person who had the most effective striking and grappling or in other words the person who was closest to ending the fight and for that reason i score it to Erceg. If you disagree go and watch mma che's video about the fight as he gives a clear breakdown of why Erceg should've won. Also pantoja over DJ is madness😂.

If there was an actual definitive criteria we wouldn’t need judges or every judge would have the same scorecard it’s the same in every sport “what could be a foul to one ref isn’t a foul to another” just like some judges will see Pantoja having control for 3 mins and give him the round and some will give erceg the round for having the biggest moment of the fight. You said it was the person closest to ending the fight if that was true Charles would’ve beat arman when it’s pretty consensus he lost and control would no longer matter if your not attempting submissions which we know isn’t true with the judges so when you say definitive criteria it’s not and even all the fighters ask to know what the judges are valuing in rounds

@@Harry1of1 i mean its funny you mention that harry, because if you got watch mma che’s video on the charles vs arman fight, he talks about the scoring criteria and shows that charles ACTUALLY should have one, despite what you may think. there IS a definitive scoring criteria that applies at all times, its just most people, and for some reason, most judges too, dont follow that criteria. doesnt make it any less real though. and no ones saying control time means NOTHING it just doesnt mean much at all unless the round is very close damage-wise
