That font at 6:12 is an ancient dingbat font created in 1984 (thus predating Wingdings even!) made for Macintosh computers called Cairo (created by Susan Kare). It was originally made as a bitmap font before vector/TrueType versions were made in 1992/1994, the former being made by Clark Riley (and he approved the creation of the latter). A few fun facts as well; Clarus (the dogcow), who Apple used a lot back then, was derived from Cairo, and many of KidPix's stamps (especially in the older versions of the program) are based off of Cairo as well, except colored! Anyway, the red message is simply a repeat of another exhibit in the museum. Whatever is in brackets is missing from the red text, and in the last line's case, an assumption based off of that other exhibit: "Pulsating within distortion['s electrifying presence] Disfigured beyond imagery's [symbolic recognition] Inversely reversed inside [out contrary to contradiction] I'm just a vi[bration]" The yellow and blue text is just gibberish, but it says: ".m,m] dsxdc"

thanks, I figured someone knew this and posted it. had to check! Didn't know its linkage to early KidPix makes sense though as they look very similar. KidPix makes me super nostalgic. Although i used KidPix Deluxe 3 From 2000.

Thank you for making this video, I really enjoyed your explanation of this game! Early 90s games fell very nostalgic to me, even when I haven't played a particular one (such as this one). This game has a surreal vibe to it and I think it being in first person helps to create this feeling that you're exploring a world that you're a stranger to, and you've arrived after everyone's left. It's an unusual feeling, but one I've enjoyed while playing Myst-style games like Physicus. And I kinda miss the feeling in newer games. Thanks again.

No matter how obscure you attempt to make the content that defines your personality so you can be the "weird one" in your social circle (despite probably not wanting to be popular since you're pillaging random old garbage to create the illusion of depth? so do you want to be popular for being different or be this mysterious guy? do you just want people to flirt with you for bit-crunching your microphone so it sounds old and mysterious and weird?), no matter how the old the content is, or how surreal the content is, you are still just a consumer, consuming content, having the depth of your inner life built up on showing other people quirky forgotten stuff does not work because its an interaction that revolves around "look at how weird this thing is" and your discord of ebonics-washed friends all go "Fr bruh wtf they look like that for this is cursed fr!!!" "I mean it be weird like dat doe" dont you ever get tired of putting all this useless barely functioning bloatware on your computer for such shallow reasons? Have you ever thought about why you enjoy the things you do or what the end result of just piling random colorful looking "nostalgic?" garbage onto yourself like a really boring decorator crab is?
