Funkee is a great example of a dog who had challenges that she needed to overcome if she were ever going to compete in agility. The bond that Kayl developed with Fun runs deep. Kayl is truly grateful to have Funkee in her life. She is a one in a million "heart dog"

Love this story. If you have enough dogs in your life there is always that one who really presents a challenge. Ours turned out to be a great teacher for me as well and eventually led to me get involved with volunteer work at our local shelter. It’s been quite a journey!

In the 3 wks since finding your channel (same 3 weeks we've had new pup!), I've watched and learned from so many of your vids but this one hit a special heart spot. Great hearing your story and to find that you can achieve such fantastic results in agility, with an emotion sensitive dog. I had a field trial bred lab just like that and had to switch out my training techniques totally too. She would not work for me during lady week😅 And I could not even sigh, as she would get worried about having displeased me in any way. Enormous will to please! I have a 2,5 year old rescue with a lot of those similar traits. So good to get your input on this at this point, as I hope to get into agility with him. It’s something I have never done before, so we are so looking forward to this challenge. Thank you so much for all the amazing work you do for dogs and dogpeople all around the world. I can relate to the...not "liking" your pup. I have a 6 month old pup and I just can't seem to bond with him and I'm not sure what to do about it.
