Wow Steve, great interview. We have been working hard in the Puppy Essentials program for a week now with our 11 week old mini aussiechon. The one comment that really hit home was where Steve talked about video recording his training. We are ballroom competitors and instructors. We have recorded every lesson and every practice from the start. We tell our students to do the same as your body will lie to you. Watching the video is priceless. Sometimes the smallest correction can make the biggest difference. Thanks Steve, we will begin doing the same starting tomorrow.

My 1 year old pithuahua is cage trained, housebroken, and pad trained. She's never torn anything up and goes to her cage on command. I don't even close the door anymore.

This crate training trend is INSANE! What on earth?!?!?!🤯🤯🤯 our puppy and dog watch tv on the sofa with us or go sleep in another room. Cage, not crate. Can’t believe this is legal and promoted by trainers.

I think the point is consistency. Doesn't matter what side because people are not walking around carrying a gun in their hand.

I can’t thank you enough. Just had our second puppy and he kept barking for an hour and just wouldn’t stop. Tried this for half an hour and he’s now settled and slept in his crate. It’s the second day we got him but I’ll take that as a win! I’m soooooooo beyond happy now!!!

How many days should I do this

Hi I'm loving your exposure therapy videos! I've been working with my chihuahua. Problem is he has very thick nails that curl along the toes to where there's no space between the nail and toe, and I can't pull the nail far enough away to get the clippers between the toe and nail. How do I deal with this situation? It's more stressful for my dog because I have spend a lot of time sort of solving a puzzle. I'd truly appreciate any answers to this question as I can't find it anywhere else online. Thanks!

My puppy Instantly freaks out the moment he goes in the crate even if I'm right there, and if I give him treats while in the crate he is only quiet for a second then he either barks because he wants more treats, or barks because he wants out!!!

I just used this solution first with no water just the hydrogen I kept scrubbing her with her bathing glove for 5 minutes, then washed her with her puppy shampoo worked great! She doesn’t smell anymore and she’s clean!

My dog barks (4months) at all things… dogs, cats,people sounds all the time. How do I stop that?

Any advice for a dog that is extremely anxious in their crate? My rescue was a stray for over a year of her life and when she's in the crate she pants and shakes continuously. Even when she's laying down locked in the crate next to me in my office she's so stressed out.

My border collie is very calm with his gentle leader and walks great when there are no dogs around. But then when he sees a dog he goes straight back to pulling and lunging on it. 🙄 How can I Get him to stop pulling in these situations? He’s so strong that even when I try to lift his snout with the leader and say “leave it” he just yanks away and pulls through it towards the other dog.
