I bought 2 house lines from you.I love them. What I really like is that they are cotton. I'm removing as much synthetic material as possible.

Just what I needed to get us back on track. Mya has poor leash respect, very distracted. We went to the basement which has a slippery tile floor so I had never trained down there before. Toys and tuna treats as distractions. She got it after the first go round when she figured out the basement isn’t only for TV and snuggles. 🥰 She will do it with my husband as a distraction but needs work on other people and dogs.

Haha I know my dog would be completely disinterested in the dry snacks and toys, mildly distracted by the stuffed animal and ball and go really reactive to the other dogs while the person will probably get his more loving interest. Now me..I would be completely distracted by the lovely dogs. Ask any friend who ever went anywhere with me and we'd run into a dog

Thank you for this. The value of the words as well as the tone of our voice is something I didn't grasp in the beginning when I started training my pupper. I'm making changes as I listen to this video. I also want to know if there is signs to distinguish between whether my pupper is in the stage where it feels she is regressing or is it my over using some commands.... 😮

I'm super thankful for your programme! I have a miniature Schnauzer, 8 months old. I did take her to puppet school as well as elementary obedience classes. Your videos and training sessions is filling in the gaps and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, thank you ❤

I never saw the point of having a dog. They are waay too much work. After I got a cat I realize how easy they are to maintain.

I enjoy your videos, thank you! My question is should you train your puppy in both crate and kennel or just one so not to confuse him? Which one should you start with? We plan to travel in our mobile home and I think the crate fits well.😊

Have a pyrador and she is an absolute angel. I see both breeds (Pyrenees and yellow lab) in her on a daily basis. Led me to get a full Great Pyrenees. He has been a process in learning for sure! Would love to hear your thoughts on this breed!

What is the best way to handle company when we are in the new-puppy-training phase? My teen boys' friends want to see the puppy and it makes him wild. He's been great with us, not nipping as much anymore using the collar/scruff grab and sit. But when friends come over, all bets are off. Even with the house line, he leaps so hard towards them that he flips himself, and if they touch him or have their socked feet around him, he bites constantly and flails all over. He's really little so everyone thinks he is cute when he behaves like this. I look like the meanie grabbing his collar to try to control him, lol. Do we just not let anyone touch him until he is more trained, or should we use these opportunities to work with him and teach him? The collar/scruff grab did nothing for him though, he just kept trying to bite me, whining and flipping all over which is so unlike him.

Beagles are excellent family dogs, loving and cuddly, intelligent, and food motivated...but..beagles are bred to run away and find stuff. They are extraordinarily good at it. Teaching them a reliable recall is a huge challenge and if children leave the door open for a minute the beagle is over the hills and far away. Beagles escape under and over fences too. I've taught Dobermans, Ridgebacks and Boxers a reliable recall, but the beagle made full use of his phone number identity tag. He ran for miles.

Thank you so much for all your help ❤. Would love to hear your perspective on maltipoos. Every time I leave the house or come home he barks allot. I leave to go to the gym before the rest of my family wakes up and then he wakes them up. That’s my only complaint right now. Can’t figure out how to resin this. Other than that I’m in love ❤️with my nacho.

Dachshund and Maltese both wonderful breeds but both have requirements, for doxies it's their tendency to back injuries, for maltie, it's grooming requirements. But both are full of personality and smart if stubborn.

Jesus, when we had our first dog fifteen years ago, we just had him, didnt know anything about dog training and everything went wonderfully well. It gets all a bit much nowadays, the same with children. All this unneccessary, anxiety-driven need for control makes me sick sometimes. Where has all our confidence gone?

AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOGS! I'm a fan of herding dogs: Corgis, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and Aus. Cattle Dogs (ACD). I had a BC/ACD mix and now have a full ACD. ACD's are quirky, smart, willfully, fun (did I say fun?), active, protective, loyal and very, very loving. You can find one that fits your lifestyle as some are more com, and others are more demanding of activity. My girl is calmer but still has the quirkiness, smarts and fun.

I have an Aussie who I adopted at between 4-5 months. We don't know the exact age. We have had him about 2 months now. I find myself putting him in the crate probably too long too often because I want to train him correctly so when he doesn't behave and I don't have time, he goes in. It breaks my heart. I want him crate trained for emergency situations but honestly would prefer he be in my bed or on the couch with me. He's just a bit too wild especially with the kids so it's an easy fix. How can I teach that I want to cuddle on the furniture but he can't walk on the kids or play bite them on the furniture?
