On 24 December 1871 Ramon survived the fire and sinking of the ship America, close to the shore of Punta Espinillo, Uruguay. Newspapers reported that the America had been racing another ship into Montevideo harbour and high boiler pressures had led to a fire. There were 114 first class, 20 second class and 30 "popular" class. Only 65 passengers survived. Ramon escaped by jumping into the sea and swimming for his life. Many of the passengers were horribly burned, and the episode left Ramon emotionally scarred.

I am not sure whether its the Captain who said the ship is unsinkable or someone else. Anyways, when they were heading towards the iceberg it appears too small/tiny. Allah s.w.t. put arrogance in the heart of the Captain and he was too confident to be not affected by such a giant ship (that's what probably most people were very proud about that Ship). As they were approaching near towards the iceberg other fellow members/attendants realised that something isn't right but, it was too late maneuver such a big Ship. Perhaps they even tried at the last moment. The rest is History.

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? No one encompasses anything except what He allows. {Chapter 2 Baqarah (The Calf) ; Verse 257} Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your full recompensation. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). [Al - Imran (The Family of Imran) 3:185] Some verses about destruction of previous few civilizations. 'But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. Surely in that are indeed signs for the scrutinizers (i.e., Those who look for the destroyed cities). And their place is located by a known route (perhaps from Makkah to Syria i.e. the place where the Dead Sea is now). Surely in this is a sign for those who believe. And the dwellers in the wood indeed were evil-doers. So We inflicted punishment upon them, and both of them are (situated) by a highway, clearly visible. The people of Al-Hijr (stone valley) also rejected Our messengers. And We provided them with Our signs yet they kept turning away from them. And of the mountains they used to carve homes, feeling safe. But the mighty blast overtook them in the morning. And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them without a truthful purpose. The Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad) their faults with gracious forgiveness. Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing.' [Chapter 15 Al-Hijr (The rocky tract) : 73-87]. And how many generation We destroyed before them, who were far mightier than them. Then when the torment came, they desperately sought refuge in the land. But was there any escape? Surah Qaf (50 : 36) This verse ↓ was revealed when pagan Arabs/idolators used to ask, how our bones will get assembled when they get dismantled after death ? Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. Still people want to deny what is yet to come, asking mockingly, “When is this Day of Judgment?” So, when the eyes will be dazzled, and the moon will lose its light, and the sun and the moon will be joined together The sinning person will say on that day: Where is the escape? There is no escape on that day and there is no place in which the sinner can take refuge nor any place that he can seek protection in. On that day, towards your Lord will be the destination (of everyone.) On the day man will be informed about the actions that he sent forward and those that he left behind. Rather, man will be a witness against himself, Surah (Chapter); Qiyamah (Resurrection) 75 : 3-14 Indeed, those who have persecuted the believing men and the believing women, then have not repented-for them is the punishment of Hell, and for them is the punishment of burning. As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them there are gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the big achievement. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is severe. He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again. And He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Loving, Lord of the Throne, the All-Glorious. [Al Buruj (The Stars/the mansions of the Stars] 85 : 10-15 1. Say, O Muhammad (p.b.u.h.): "He is Allah, (the) One and Only. 2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). 3. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. 4. And there is none like unto Him (Nothing can be compared to Him). [Chapter -112 Ikhlas (The Sincerity): 1 - 4]

Its worth noting that one of the head chefs was the last survivor to leave the titanic. He was next to Jack and rose in Cameron's film in the chefs white outfit.. In real-life as the titanic went down he let.go on the rail as he got neck deep and from then tread water for almost 1 and a half hours until daylight came and he swam to the upside down lifeboat.. However there was no room for him to climb on so just hung onto it until he was rescued... He was finally pulled out the water with only swallon feet. He also survived both world wars. If anybody deserve a movie based on their life it's him.
@aliyamuhammed76783 жыл бұрын
The love story between jack and rose was thought up to portray the lives lost in a hauntingly beautiful way. And it works, the love story, symbolising lost dreams and unfulfilled promises of the people that lost their lives, remains in our hearts still even though I was born like nine years after the movie was initially released. However, there was a mister Dawson,and he had a lover named rose back in England, and people claim they have records of letters he'd written to her. They also stated he send the money he made working on Titanic to an address(it seemed legitimate) which is speculated to have been Rose's residence at the time. This was purely coincidental though, it came out 10-15 years after the movie was released.

Do y'all know the similar incident happened in 2014 in South korea. There were 300+ students who were going to a trip with their class fellows and teachers.. Due to overweight the ship started to sunk in the water and the captain announced them not to move and stay still while the captain ran away just to save himself leaving the ship and the passengers.. The ship tilted slowly slowly.. It took it 3 hours to sunk.. and the rescue team approached but they couldn't save the students and they all got sunk and died due to suffocation... This incident called "Sewol-ho Ferry incident" the students were making videos and some of them were saying their last goodbyes to their dears and were telling them they love them.. It must be horrible for them..they knew they're going to die and no doubt suffocation death is one of the painful death.. rest in peace precious souls 🎗

Except it's complete nonsense. There is not a single record of third class passengers being locked behind gates or kept from the main decks. In fact, the opposite. There were ZERO locked gates in the third class area. There weren't even "gates"; merely portable, easily removable, almost symbolic ones. In fact, the third class area had multiple, easily accessible stairwells leading straight up to the deck. The "third class passengers being kept below" myth is just that: a myth. What ACTUALLY happened is that *because* they were on the lower levels, they didn't realize the extent of the problem until 18 out of 20 lifeboats were gone. So many simply WAITED there for instructions instead of going up to the deck. One could argue that the officers didn't come down there and TELL them - but in terms of them being intentionally kept there or locked behind gates - it's all Hollywood nonsense. The actual record - AND testimonies - show the exact opposite.

Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, portrayed in the movie by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, are almost entirely fictional characters (James Cameron modeled the character of Rose after American artist Beatrice Wood, who had no connection to Titanic history). The movie's love story is also fiction. It was created by Titanic screenwriter and director James Cameron. In addition to Rose and Jack, a handful of other characters associated with them are fictional as well. They include Rose's fiancé Caledon 'Cal' Hockley (Billy Zane), her mother Ruth (Frances Fisher), Cal's valet Spicer Lovejoy (David Warner), and the third class passengers, who include Jack's friends Fabrizio (Danny Nucci) and Tommy (Jason Barry). Some of the third class passengers were modeled after real people. A man who signed his name J. Dawson did board the Titanic. However, the J. stood for Joseph, not Jack. Born in Dublin, Joseph Dawson was a member of the Titanic crew. He worked as a coal trimmer (it was his job to even out the piles of coal that were shoveled into the ship's furnaces). James Cameron said that he was not aware of Joseph Dawson until after finishing his Titanic screenplay. Still, lovestruck fans of the 1997 movie ventured to J. Dawson's grave in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where they left cinema stubs, personal photos, and pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio (the exact burial location is Grave 227 in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Halifax, Nova Scotia). Another coincidental character created by James Cameron was Jack's Irish friend Tommy Ryan (Jason Barry). The ship's manifest lists a Thomas Ryan, a 27-year-old steward from third class whose body, if recovered, was never identified.

I made copies of the pages relating to the events which took place and as many have done over the years have read and watched as well as gone to exhibitions of what has been salvaged from the wreckage since Titanic was found.
